The Sebel Manly Beach Sydney

The hotel is aging, some odd odors abound and there are some ridiculously shortsighted problems such as the only way to connect to the internet is to pull a short cord across the doorway connecting the living area and bedroom (and this is in a top grade room!) Some staff are excellent while others are young, inexperienced, unhelpful and, in at least one case, barely able to converse in English. Not worth the (very) high prices.

Good rooms and en suite. Location was fine but the room was in an annex with no connection to the main part of the hotel. The only bar was a noisy trendy establishment that you could not enjoy a relaxed meal in. However there are plenty of good restaurants nearby

Extremely impressed with the service and the cleanliness and modern look of the rooms.

A perfect location, right on Manly beach, very tidy premises, beautiful big king size bed, the service is really good and we had the best price too. 10/10

A better view of the surf beach would have been great, however apart from an unfortunate false fire alarm at 3:30 am, the service was very good and the room clean & tidy each day

This place is fantastic. Even when we have stayed there previously (when it was the Radisson) I have always loved our time here. Thanks Staff at The Sebel, we'll be back...For Sure!!!!

Good room but let down by a verandah with pidgeon droppings,dirty glass railing,table and chairs..you pay more for an ocean view room and I would expect this area to be given more attention.

If I were Mirvac I wouldn't put my name on this renovation. A bit below Mirvac par quality to be honest... 2 Pools small. Very hemmed in. Renos very basic and just re-tiled over bathroom etc... Kitchenette in family 2 bedroom a joke. No view. Parking extra. Restaurant downstairs very nice and lovely view. Good walking into Manly Corso, the beach etc...

We had no view of the see from our hotel room and some trouble with our electronic card keys.

Apart from the lifts inoperable, the TV unconnected and the automatic door not openning when we tried to leave on the last day, it was great. There should be written directions on how to operate the shower taps.

Terrific Views and very friendly and helpful staff.

Great location in the heart of manly beach

Great location but hotel a disappointment for the "Sebel" brand. Young staff - trying hard but not relaxed or welcoming . Closet door fell off when opening the door . Poor small "cold" bathroom with no individual shower unit . Poor light "insulation" in room overlooking street . Lifts , corridors etc. all showing considerable "wear and tear" . Good and very comfortable bed and pillows . And a credit card surcharge - in a hotel !

Great location at the quiter end of Manly beach. larger than average rooms with up to date and modern decor. Breakfast in restaurant is great value. Would stay there again just for the view.

Stayed there 19-22:nd of March 07. The rooms are very modern and fresh. Stay in the north tower, the oceanview is great from the large balcony. Perfect location on South Steyne, close to all restaurants, beach etc, but a couple of blocks away from the noise. Friendly staff.

Fantastic hotle for location especially - I would definately recommend to a friend.

Whether this hotel is value for money depends on which building your room is in. The second tower (the one without beach frontage) currently overlooks a building site and rooms are a bit expensive for what you get.

May be worth checking your account on checkout - my account had a number of items on it which were not mine.

The sebel was a fantastic location, next to the best beach in sydney. It was clean and the rooms were very nice. My only fault with it was that the Front desk staff were not as friendly as other hotels we stayed in. Partly to do with the fact that one girl could not speack english so could never understand what i was asking
