Very plesant stay. Great deal with breakfast included (thats why we stayed at the Sebel) Nice room although would have preferred a room with a city view not into the next building, so will ask next time. Will definately stay again
Little mix up with the booking through Hotelclub, but the friendly staff found a room for me in the end, even thow it was a disabled studio. Room was very clean and tidy with the exception of a dead fly in the sink. Well stocked gym for the more serious people. Valet parking a little pricy. All in all one of the best value for money inner city Hotels ive stayed at

cant say a bad word about the sebel melbourne, the staff, location and faclities were all excellent.I dont think i have stayed at hotel with more friendly and helpful staff anywere in the world, considering it was new years eve they were great thank you
Grand building. Rooms are excellent, clean, modern facilities and roomy. Location is in central Melbourne CBD. easy access to anywhere in the city and Southbank. Bathrooms could do with an upgrade.
Awesome room, hotel, facilities, staff. Nothing that wasn't fantastic!
Great service apartment in the middle of the city. Staff was very helpfull. Defitnitely recommend this property. There was a function during the time we stayed, the music was just toooo loud to bear when walking in/out from hotel. Breakfast was average.
Very friendly courtious staff - highly recommended
Our stay was on New Years Eve 2009 and the staff made us very welcome. The bed was one of the most comfortable that we have experienced in Hotels anywhere in the world. Our Buffet breakfast was also excellent. We would be happy to suggest this Hotel to any of our friends or business associates.
The Hotel is in a very good position. Within one block of the Mall and Flinders Street Station The bathroom was a bit dated with shower over the bath and glass panel that kept falling back on you -and with mould residue / discolouration - not what I would think acceptable in a five star hotel. Our bed was pulled up - and not made properly
Was a great spot to stay for a first timer to Melbourne. Smack bang in the middle of the city and in walking distance of lots of the sights. The hotel was lovely and clean, and the staff were very friendly.
Great hotel in great location. The Air Conditioning in the rooms is bizarre. It's either freezing or steaming - nothing in between. It happened in two rooms... Staff couldn't be better. Treasury restaurant on the ground floor is great - give it a try.
We enjoyed a pleasant stay. The only complaint was the noisy Air Conditioner and street noise.
Stunning suites in a lovely old building. Great to have so much space! Perfect location - everything at your doorstep. Would definitely stay again.
I really enjoyed this hotel. The suite was spacious and the staff were very helpful.
Would stay here again. Late check out was a bonus. Valet parking a bit expensive at $27.50.
Good location for the City. Central. No Views from our room though, except for the contemporary 19th Centry brick wall. And single elevator in the plaza section is a pain. Gym OK. Minimal 1 of everything.
I've stayed at the Sebel Hotel a number of times and always find the staff friendly polite and very helpful. I would recommend this great hotel to anyone that enjoys comfort, style and location.
We enjoyed our stay at the Sebel. The only cause for annoyance was the adjoining nightclub that played music that we could hear clearly until around 2am, rowdy patrons leaving interrupted our sleep after closing as well. We were in room 804. Staff were very friendly, hotel was well presented and even with the noise was great value.
Fantastic Place with great rooms for a bit of relaxation. Handy to city restaurants etc.
Bathroom tiling looked very ordinary (missing grout etc) However food and service was spot on
