With its ivy-clad façade, oak beams and open fireplaces, the Smokehouse Hotel exudes warmth and cosiness — perfect for an escape to good, old-fashioned hospitality.
The Smokehouse Hotel can trace its roots back to 1937, completed shortly before the Second World War as an original Tudor building. Today its long tradition for luxurious accommodation and good ole English fare is exemplified by high levels of service and the reassuring sight of a roaring fireplace. The building retains the same charming exterior of the finest of English country houses and is complemented by the hotel's award winning grounds and gardens.
The Smokehouse Hotel, however, is not just about the rooms or the gardens or even the food, but rather the experience of being part of something wonderfully familiar and yet out of the ordinary.
