Getting there:There are two choices: 1. Flight from Manila to Caticlan via Seair or Asian Spirit. You will then ride a motorboat from Caticlan Jetty Port to Cagban Port (Boracay), and take a multicab or tricycle to The Strand. (Please tell the tricyle/multicab driver to drop you off at The Strand right behind boracay terraces.) 2. Flight from Manila to Kalibo via Philippine Airlines or Cebu Pacific. Take a 2 hours land transfer to Caticlan, then ride a motorboat from Caticlan Jetty Port to Cagban Port (Boracay), and take a multicab or tricycle to The Strand Resort. (Please tell the tricyle/multicab driver to drop you off at The Strand right behind boracay terraces.)
Check-in Procedure:You are advised to notify us at least two days in advance of your flight details coming to Boracay so that we can prepare the rooms in time. Also arrange your transfer to the island if so desired. Please provide mobile contact numbers to the resort so it would be easy to contact you on your way to the resort in case there is a need to. Contact details of the resort will be provided on confirmation voucher which will be given by Rates To Go upon completion of the booking.

Very friendly and helpful staff
We had a restful time as it is away from the noise and action in Boracay. The staff are courteous the only thing they need to do is update the pricing of their menu as I had been billed differently.

Loved the saltwater pool. I think this is the best pool in all of Boracay. Location is excellent. Hotel decor is excellent with a 17inch flat panel TV. The hotel is situated just past boatstation 1 near Diniwid beach. The private beach is just a minute walk. A great place to sit and enjoy the sunset. The location is far from the hustle and bustle in the island. D'mall can be accessed via a trycicle for 75pesos and can also be accessed by walking beachfront for 20 minutes. Jonah's Fruit shake is about 5-7 minute walk. Issue: There were mosquitoes in the room during our first night, but was immediately alleviated after I complained. The hotel attendant provided the mosquito repellant. Breakfast order for the folloiwng morning is taken in the evening. Make sure your breakfast selection is completely understood upon ordering. There was confusion with my order and cost us valuable time.
We had an amazing time there. The service was amazing and the location was great just off the beach. The beach gets a little loud and rowdy and it was nice to be away from it all. The swimming pool is fabulous and the food as well.
