The thatched cottages sit under a shelter of coconut palms on landscaped slopes that gently descent to meet the white sand beach. The rustic serenity of the cottages is reflected in the interior design where panels of woven palms fronds and earthern-coloured fabrics bring the outdoors inside. Idyllic sort of resort. Great to get away from it all. Not much going on nearby (walking distrance), but the crazyiness of Patong Beach is only 30 minutes away. Great food at the restaurants on-site.
great hotel with great service, but the shuttle bus to phuket town was too expensive.

Had a lovely time here. Even though it was low season and the rains were threatening to come early, we had some great weather - blue skies, sunshine and a little sunburn!!! I personally thought the surf was great (which appears this time of year on this lovely quiet beach), but the rip/currents would be too much for small children - but there's always the pool. I'd really rate this hotel, great location, beautiful beach and the staff are so friendly. Not too far from either the airport or the bright lights of Petang (if you want it them!!!). But otherwise, just chill out here round the pool or the on the beach! Enjoy.
The Chedi is a great hotel and we will surely stay there again if we return to Phuket. The scenery of the hotel is outstanding, the very well furnished bungalows are set in a beautiful garden with tropical trees and plants. Depending on the location of your bungalow there are many stairs to climb, but hey - that's good for fitness! Service of the staff was excellent, especially the waiters were always very helpful and friendly, making every visit to the restaurants a real delight. The food is delicious, we tried the menu up and down in our 10 days stay and really enjoyed the spicy thai food and fresh seafood in the evenings. The overall impression was first class, The Chedi is highly recommendable!
An excellent hotel in a beautiful location. Fantastic food, and friendly attentive service. The rooms are beautiful, but involve quite a lot of walking up and down stairs. A truly beautiful hotel!

A brilliant place. Note however that in monsoon season (May to September), the sea can be too rough for swimming.
Nice resort to have a timeout from busy city life. The private beach is beautiful. Love the waves and do not miss the sunset view.
