The Vines Apartments Adelaide

My granddaughter and I found everything very pleasing. The location was great in a stret lined with Cafe's and Restaurants. The facilities were perfect and I would like to comment on how nice the Front Desk Operator (working at the Grand Apartments Reception Desk) was.

No hairdrayer and the wooden furniture was old and battered. All other facilities were OK. Council off street parking, restaurants and supermarket all close by.

It was a reasonably generous size, however was in dire need of refurbishment. The facilities were very basic. This was reflected in the reasonable pricing, I suppose. Location is excellent, the street being home to a number of fine restaurants and pubs. and a short drive to city centre, markets etc.

A really lovely place to stay, great for public transport and a nice walk from the city. Good reasonably priced resturants in walking distance.

Vines Hotel Adelaide was a perfect rental. After so many hotels we were provided with an apartment with a washer and dryer. Everything we needed was right there in North Adelaide. Given a choice of numerous excellent eating places - close to the transportation lines - a wonderful location with even a computer/internet shop just a short distance away.

It's the Vines Apartments not a Hotel. The 1 bedroom Apartment we had was excellent. We were able to do our own cooking and it even had a dishwasher, and washing machine. The whole package was excellent.

Great location on public transport to city. Very good restaurants nearby with wide selection of cuisine. Would definitely stay again.

We found the apartment a good base for a visit to Adelaide. The staff were courteous and helpful. The apartment was good value for money and I would recommend it to others

A very enjoyable stay for both Australian and overseas visitors. A great location for restaurants and shopping and access to city and great facilities.

Handy Location just a short bus ride from the City Centre or a leisurely walk through the Gardens to North Terrace. Located in Melbourne Street in the heart of the Restaurant strip so Plenty of choices for eating out or Take Away. The Apartments are fully equiped with a Stove, Microwave Crockery, Cutlery and cooking utensils to self cater if desired.

The facilities were excellent, close to Adelaide, close to public transport etc. Enjoyed the stay and will be back! It was a great week and we were impressed as we usually stay at Glenelg, but we will be changing to the Vines in North Adelaide.

Everything was good , street noise is the only minus of this place.

Great accommodation in wonderful central location. Would return.

Excellent self-catering apartments on trendy street amongst restaurants, cafes and pubs. Good public transport (for Adelaide!) outside front door.Five minutes from city by car/bus, about half an hour walking. The only problem was the streetlight outside our window. Even with the thick curtains it seemed to be permanently daylight outside.

The Apartments where very good, will be staying there next time.

The layout of the room was quite unusual - but refreshing if you stay in quite a few hotels where they all begin to look the same. There was a good sized balcony that is perfect for sunset drinks!

I wasn't aware that it wasn't a hotel or that I would have to go to the Grand to book in or that it was necessary to be there by 6.00 pm. Being unaware of these things and that I would not be able to get breakfast on sight was most annoying when I needed to be at the air base the next morning at 8.30am. Thankfully there was somewhere close to get an evening meal if you like chinese. More info to interstate visitors would be great for people booking on-line as I did. Not that I had much chance to watch TV but a guide to stations available and program would have been nice. Thankfully there was a carpark close as I hired a car and my unit did not come with parking. Visitors might like to know this in advance as well.

Centrally located in North Adelaide, the Vines Hotel has everything you need in an apartment hotel, at a very affordable price. There are heaps of restaurants on the doorstep & a supermarket at the end of the block. There is also a huge bottle shop (with very friendly staff)just a few doors away. I would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment hotel & would definitely stay there again.
