The von Stackelberg Hotel Tallinn by Uniquestay Hotels is a fully renovated lifestyle hotel, featuring modern facilities in a historical setting. It creates something completely new – unique atmosphere, where the old meets the new. The hotel''s building was originally built in 1874 as a private residence for a German baron Theophil von Stackelbrg. To keep the historical interior, the original limestone walls has been kept inside to create a warm and welcoming environment, though combined with original lighting and design elements to give it a bit more edge.

The Von Stackelberg exceeded any and all expectations I had of this hotel. The hotel building, services, staff & overall entire experience was perfect. I would stay here and would recommend this hotel to any and all staying in Tallinn!
A nice hotel with great location and service. Not too much to do in the hotel, though, but it's next to a spa hotel, which you can visit for a fee. Breakfast was OK, luckily not "english" as the description stated. Note: bathtubs are only in the deluxe rooms, standard rooms have a sparse bathroom with shower (ours was tiled green from floor to roof and the shower was slightly challenging to use).
the hotel was nice, but the bath room had a moldy smell in it. nice location
Shower in conjunction with minimal wc was too tight. As well the free floor space in the room was about too minimal for two persons standing at the same time. So I would like to say we were two persons in a room that should be a single room.
A good quality hotel for the price! Good localisation justin front of the old city. The room was luxurious and the breakfast very good! I'll return there.
Recommended for budget travellers. Big plus for PC with internet in room. Minus for generally dissapointing service. Good location, but would highly recommend travellers to Tallinn to choose a hotel in the middle of old town for the medevial atmosphere.
Great hotel, with great loction.
Tallinn is a BEAUTIFUL city. The location is in a good part of town. It is near the old town, without being in the middle of the noise. The staff was pleasant. Food at the cafe isn't worth ordering....eat in town.....lots of good food to be found ....at the Old Hansa.
1) Very bad breakfast services; not a lot of choice; juice was watery; porridge was disgusting; plates/glasses were not clean 2) Location and cleanliness is good 3) There is supposed to be internet connection in every room but dont count on it 4) Staff was helpful but not overly polite
The only complaint is that the brochure in the room said that laundry submitted by 9.00 a.m. would be returned that day. I handed some laundry in one evening. It came back unwashed the following day because they were unable to deliver on their promise.
Close to the Old Town, nice and clean. Friendly staff. Free parking, computer in every room.
Well located, reasonably priced. Reception staffed by a collection of trainees, who were cheerful but had no idea where anything was - including what floor the room was on! Excellent breakfast made up for it. Our room quiet but can see some could be noisy. Would go back.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful
I can always recommend the Uniquestay. Have been there several times and will stay there during future trips.
Good value and well located once you get there. Close to the train and bus but a distance from the ferry. Get good instructions on how to find it',,, We would use it again
some noise from traffic
Room not serviced/cleaned at all during our 2-night stay. The "free" internet access did not work. Good breakfast and convenient location.
Amazing - internet in the room!
Although this claims to be a 4 star hotel it does not reach the standards of other 4 star hotels we have stayed in. It is rather cheap chic although comfortable and a 5 minute walk to the old town. The self service breakfast is rather like being in a hostel where you just helped yourself to everything including tea and coffee - not the service you'd expect in a 4 star hotel! Having booked a double & a twin rm we got 2 twins at different ends of the hotel - this was not acceptable as we had two children with us and this was clear on the booking form through [website]. The hotel claimed they were unaware of this but moved us nearer to each other on the second night. Overall ok for price.
Stay here for an awesome experience. The breakfast buffet is worth it alone!! Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends/family.
