"Decent, Basic almost city centre hotel, within easy walking distance of the west end and suitable for those on a budget.
It was only let down by the room service, our room wasnt serviced over the 3 days we styed there. On two days in a row - The beds WERE straightened, but the dirty/wet towels were left on the floor, there was NO toilet roll and used cups were left on the dresser. Why would someone come in and NOT service the whole room ? " - George Deverick

The hotel prides itself on providing a high standard of customer service and with a great location and comfortable accommodation; the West End Hotel is a great choice, whether you are visiting Edinburgh on business or pleasure. Free internet access is available in the hotel. For larger groups, we have some dormitory accommodation
The high ceilings, beautiful traditional cornicing, bay windows and chocolate and plum colour scheme complement one another wonderfully. Fully refurbished, each of the private hotel rooms has an LCD TV with built-in Freeview, tea/coffee making facilities and a brand new modern en suite bathroom. With stylish décor and crisp white cotton sheets, the rooms are attractive, modern and comfortable. Please note, we do not have lift facilities.
The hotel has a fantastic bar/lounge serving everything from traditional Scottish malts through to wine, cocktails, bottled and tap beers and lagers. This venue is a great place to have a quiet drink, meet with friends, watch international sporting events on the two large television screens or listen to live music.
