After two sets of traffic lights entrance to hotel is immediately after Regent Theatre. From the north - From airport take the Tullamarine Freeway to city. Turn south on Elizabeth Street and east on Victoria Street. After four blocks, turn south on Russell Street. After seven blocks turn west on Collins Street. Hotel is on next corner. From the south - From Nepean Highway follow city signs to St Kilda Road. Cross Yarra River turn east on Flinders Street, after one block turn north on Russell Street, after two blocks turn west on Collins Street. After two sets of traffic lights entrance to hotel is immediately after the Regent Theatre. From the west - From Western Freeway, turn onto Western Ringroad follow signs to the city.

Not really quite reaching a 5 star mark for us at $429.00 for the night, no breakfast. Food choices in lounge uninspiring. Bathroom lacked attention to detail i.e. dust under basins and shower tiles a bit mouldy. My husband hates it when there's no toilet brush. Espresso martinis good!
This hotel was very clean and we had a comfortable stay. The staff there are just perfect. They are professional, friendly and respectful. Superb combination. Hats off to Ian and concierge of the year in (?) Australasia whose name we didn't get - both were delightful to meet and provided excellent service as did the doorman. Couldn't fault the hotel nor the staff.

Very nice hotel in the heart of Melbourne. Close to theatres, galleries, great shopping and cafes galore. Hotel is very classy and has spacious comfortable rooms, huge bathroom. Very nice pool and spa.

I was very impressed with staff very friendly , abit disappointed with the rate for car parking $50 and our room was on the 6th floor looking at a wall so probably would not do that deal again also we received the free pillow but again it is a super king so will have to try and find another one and also covers to fit.
We stayed here over Easter and the location was great, so handy to everything. The staff were very helpful and friendly and really couldn't fault anything. Would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The location was ideal and the room size was great. I particularly liked the large bathroom and rainforest shower.
A great location, with friendly staff, however more attention to cleanliness is required, especially in the bathroom - toothpaste marks on the floor and some kind of liquid spill on the wall . Recently Westin updated their range of Heavenly beds to the delux pillow top model, I found this extremely uncomfortable - far too soft and as the beds have dipped with use, this exacerbated the problem.
WE love the simple elegance of the Westin and the central CBD location suits us perfectly when we want a break in town
A great place to stay as it is in the heart of the city. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfy bed to sleep in. The bathroom lived up to its description of luxury... the shower was awesome. The wellness centre is a great place to head to for some exercise and a swim or spa. Dine at Allegro for a great meal and then head down to the foyer for a coffee and cake infront of the fireplace. The only complaint one could make is that the tv though big was very noisy. It made a constant buzzing, booming sound when the volume was above 25. Did hurt the ears and make tv viewing annoying.

Everything is just great like other five star hotels in the world except that the mattress ought to be changed as well. My wife in particular requested me to bring this up to the hotel management as she suffered from back pain. with that improvement,we have no doubt to come and stay again.TQ
Excellent in all respects
Hotel's location superb to all shopping in Melbourne Central. The key system in accessing the lifts was annoying, as it did not always give you access first time
The free apple platter outside the lifts was a nice touch. The back view of rooftops was not. We were told on checking out that our room was planned for an upgrade. Although it was adequate, I have stayed in better hotels for less money. This was expensive for what you get as everything was extra and breakfast was not included.
Excellent hotel right in the heart of Melbourne. Staff were exceptional.
