Getting there:* Route description from Brussels (E-19) : You take the E19 - direction Antwerp. Leaving the high road, you drive along until you get on the Mechelse Steenweg. Keep following this street until the crossing with the Frankrijklei and cross it (Leopoldstraat). In the Leopoldstraat you take the fourth street right. Now you are in the Arenbergstraat, where the hotel is located at number 30.

Excellent hotel, situated in relatively quiet area, on edge of shopping district. Hotel restaurant very good. Approx 15 mins walk from station. Approx 10 mins walk to old city. Very good location for weekend stay.
Big room, simple, old furniture and carpet, provide the expected services. Good brekfast. Excelent location. A little low than our expectation.
The location of the hotel was great - on a quiet street with easy access to the shops and market. Our room was clean but there were a few things that seemed to be left by the previous occupants of the room.
Nice hotel close to the centre of Antwerp. The zoo is also close by (walking distance). Wonderful breakfast buffet, nice clean rooms. Parking close to the hotel, connection to the hotel in the parking!) Lovely hotel to go to (definately worth a second stay there myself!!).
Nicr hotel, great location and with airco...it was a great comfprt in the hot days of August.
rooms are a bit oldfashioned
I found this hotel to be very clean and the staff to be very polite and helpful, the rooms where large which is a bonus. There where a couple of things I was unhappy about, although it wouldn't stop me staying there again now that I know. The brochure stated the room where all air conditiond, I could not find any controls in the room. I found them to be very warm even with the window wide open consequently I have come home covered in bites. Also the bar does not open till 5 p.m. which is a bit of an inconvenience if you are a female and on your own. Also it was very noisey at the weekend because of all the wagons for the market. But all in all a very comfortable & spacious hotel. I never did find the sauna and jacuzzi though.

Hotel has an excellent location, very central. Staff are professional and extremely helpful. Rooms are clean, spacious and well serviced. Breakfast is extensive and well organised. This will be our first choice hotel when we next visit Antwerp.
Great location, friendly staff and an excellent breakfast. Smells of smoke a bit in the lobby bar. Would definitely stay there again.
Location is brilliant; 100m from market and 200m from main shopping street. The old town is only 10 minutes walk. Breakfast was fantastic, great choice. I'll stay there again next time.
