Thistle Hotel Glasgow

"Have stayed in the Thistle Glasgow many times - great location & good facilities, however it is being refurbished and some of the rooms still to be done are very shabby to the point of being most unpleasant, almost dirty. They should definitely make sure you are aware of what you are getting when you book in. Saying that though they have always managed to move me to a better room if I am unhappy" - Anonymous

"Good big room, 2 double beds and a proper sitting space with recliner and table and chairs. Good noise insulation - not at all troubled by traffic noise although window overlooked a busy road. All furnishings a little worn, but we had opted to stay in the cheapest "double doubles" - for about 10 more there are equivalent sized refurbished rooms. I used the gym which was well equipped and the pool also looked a reasonable size." - Anonymous

"Location made this hotel perfect and although in the city centre there was no noise, making it a comfortable nights sleep. All staff were friendly and helpful especially reception and front desk, the only complaints i had was breakfast service for hot drinks was very slow ( although standard of food was good ) and the bar prices were expensive. All in all I enjoyed my stay." - Anonymous
