Thon Hotel Bergen Brygge

Rooms are quite small but this is in the "budget" range of the thon hotels. Everything else about the hotel was excellent - location, breakfast included, lounge area with complimentary tea/coffee.

Good hotel location, friendly people. 5 minutes walk to brygen and central activities. Easy tranportation location to airport.

This is a budget hotel, don`t expect any thing, however, the breakfast was OK!

Best hotel we've stayed in in Bergen.

Norway is a very expensive country but this hotel was quite reasonable. The hotel is about a 3 min walk from SAS Radisson which is where you go to for the airport shuttle. There is a Rema supermarket a couple of blocks away (opposite SAS Radisson) and I would definitely recommend buying your snack and drinks from there. The hotel room had everything we needed. Internet was great! On the TV screen as you first walk into the room they have a Welcome (and your name) which I though was a nice touch. There was free coffee and tea downstairs but you had to pay for expresso etc. Breakfast was your standard Norwegian buffet.

I was very surprised to find a budget hotel with close to the same service level as a regular four star hotel. Well functioning room. Very clean. Very friendly and helpful service. And the breakfast buffet was amazing and totally up to the level of a four star international hotel. I was very happy with my three day stay here.

A "budget" hotel but in a great location, room adequate (no A/C) and comfortable but noisy due to open windows above carpark. Very good breakfast.

Perfect location if you want to visit Bergen as a tourist. Basic hotel with basic facilities. However, internet facilities are not up to date. No wireless in the rooms.

Hotels in Bergen are relatively expensive but the Thon Hotel Bergen Brygge was the cheapest alternative we have found. It has great location, in the heart of Bergen. . People at the desk are very helpfull and nice. If we are in Begen we will stay here again.

I have nothing negative to say about this hotel, it was a great place to stay clean, friendly and just a short walk to the centre of bergen passing a number of very good bars and restaurants and shops, the cost was great as well, and I will stay there again on my next visit to bergen.

Hotel was fine, clean tidy and realtively modern. The only problem was that the parking facilities were nearly a mile away in the town.

I stayed at this hotel with my son in July, 2007. The hotel is very good value, expecially for such an expensive city. The location is great - in a quiet , but central location, on the best side of the harbour. The staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. I particularly appreciated how flexible and accommodating they were about my booking. I'd originally booked a single room for 2 nights - then, at short notice, my son was able to join me for one night. No problems at all! It's also just a 2-minute walk to the airport bus, which was very handy for my early-morning flight. (First bus at 4am.) I'll definitely stay here again. Great hotel in a beautiful city.

Internet and printing equipment is well equipped however, it would be better to have more. We came from Thailand and the power outlet type is different from yours it would be better to have one outlet of our kind avail for battery charger

The decorations and furniture were a bit tired. No eating facilities at night and no bar at the weekend. The location is however excellent. Easy to get to from the aiport by bus. Just stay on until the last stop, then walk 200 yards. The staff were friendly. Free WiFi.

An excellent stop over hotel. Location is great - very near to the scenic old part of Bergen, and just 100m or so from the last stop on the Flybussen coach from the airport to the city.

Corridors need upgrading

Good location right on the harbor in Bergen. A clean economy hotel, with good sized rooms.

If you need a reasonably cheap hotel in the very near city center, this is a very good one. However, it is a big hotel, - busses with tourists coming all the time, so if you want something small, nice and special, this is not the place.

Nice and quiet location in the old part of Bergen next to a park. Friendly staff. The breakfast buffet was ok. Not a luxury hotel, but very reasonable with good rates.
