Thon Hotel Bristol Oslo

Very central, can park evenings and weekend on the street to avoid the high cost for the hotel parking, also note the valet is not available to deliver cars until 9am at the weekend so not worth the price. Breakfast is very good, small gym and Sauna are adequate and also nice bars in the hotel. Would recommend to stay again.

Beautiful grand-style lounge and bar areas, perfectly located in the centre of Oslo, and cosy and elegant, refurbished rooms with parquet floors. Excellent price for the high quality.

Staying at this boutique hotel was an absolute delight. When we reported a faulty light switch in our room, we were immediately upgraded to the Club Room. Service was wonderful and efficient. I would return again and again.

Very poor coffe at breakfast and no will from staff to organize anything better - "only available from 10 am" was the reply. Nice hotel but definately no 5 star service!

A very pleasant Hotel in good location with comfortable rooms. Afternoon tea in the Lobby lounge includes the best display of open sandwiches in the city.

Very attractive public areas, the Winter garden and particularly the Library. The reindeer steak was delicious!

Hotel presents a very upscale appearance. Somewhat "stuffy", but definitely a good place to stay. Problems were immediately solved. Employees very efficient and helpful.

Although we stayed only one night we were very pleased by the service given at the Bristol. We liked the cosiness of the room and the perfect locationof the hotel. When and if in Oslo we would certainly stay there again.

First Class hotel, a real luxury! Very reasonably priced for the facilities available. Breakfast was second to none, excellent, fit for a King. Service was most efficient and pleasantly executed by the staff. We would like to stay here again, without a doubt. Thank you, to all concerned.

Excellent traditional hotel in a central but quiet location. We arrived at 9.00am but got our room straight away.

an excellent breakfast;staff very helpful and friendly;building full of character. sadly,one 'crib'-the triple room only contained two beds and a 'folding bed';the latter wholly inadequate for a 'six foot plus' man. however ,our complaint was acceded to by provision of a gratis single room.to prevent this issue arising again the hotel should not offer triple-bed rooms if they are not equipped with 3 proper beds

prices in norway are generally very expensive. this is a fine hotel,not in the luxary class but very pleasant.The location makes it convenient to walk to the water front and ferries.Would stay there again.
