A very nice Hotel! 7/10 in its class! Great breakfast and good service! There is, however, one thing we found annoying, the wash is outside the toilet, in the main room, and there is a window which enables you to see the other person on the toilet. A bit uncomfortable to sit there knowing the other person in the room could watch you at any time. So if you are going to stay here, bring someone you are comfortable with:)

This hotel is quite well located at a tram stop, the staff is friendly and very helpful, the rooms are basic but good, the only downside being that the sonic insulation with the outside is very bad. Because we checked-in (6 pm) quite late, we could only have a room on the main street, which was very noisy because of the traffic, but we managed to move to another room after the first night, and this one was much quieter. Great buffet breafast. If you leave between 6 and 6.30 you can have a take-away breakfast, which is much more basic. Complimentary coffee/tea machine and apples in the looby available all the time.

The hotel was in a good location and we got reasonable value for Oslo. We couldn't figure out why the designer of the hotel put in clear glass windows in the toilet and shower. Since our adult son was staying with us in a triple room, we had absolutely no privacy. Secondly, there was only one light switch for both the shower and room. Therefore, if someone wanted to take a shower, the entire room lit up. Lastly, the folding bed barely left room to pass it to get to the other double bed or to the shower/toilet.

Hotel location is very good shopping and site seeing. Boutiques are just a walking distance and lots of restaurants around it. You can also take a walk going to Vigeland Park and King's Palace. Hotel services are good also, including the breakfast...

For oslo the price, location and standard of this hotel was very good

Nice location - clean cut design. Lovely bright white breakfast room with an excellent choice. Single beds very single. Rooms were very warm - no aircon.

Good, practical city location and friendly staff. The room (single bed) was very small even then the booking stated twin bed. The wash basin was not in the bath room, but outside close to the bed. Avoid that kind of room, I believe (hope) other rooms was much more practical

Great location just outside the city centre and on a tram route to the centre. Plenty of shops, bars and restraunts nearby.

A clean and very adequate boutique type hotel. The location is the best for shopping, eatting out, and night life. It is an easy 15 minute walk to the city center of Karl Johan street. The breakfast had a nice selection of choices. I especially appreciated the free use of the computer in the lobby to keep in touch. The staff was always friendly and helpful. I will be returning to this hotel in the future.

The Gyldenlove Hotel situated near Royal Palace Park ..it's really neat! and close to zara and lots of shops! In a very nice area! My stay was pleasant. The breakfast was not up to standard to its price. That's the only shame!!! However, in general the room is clean and in a nice area!

A very nice and modern hotel

Excellent hotel. Very recently refurbished (it's still on-going) in a kind of uber-modern design with flat-screen TV's etc. Not too bad a walk to the centre of town either.

Mediocre breakfast buffet. Nice design-furnitures. Tiny room. All-in-all recommendable.

Sorry that there was NO Internet possibilities at all in the rooms

The staff was very attentive and pleasant and the hotel is in a good location just a short walking distance to shopping and sight seeing. I recommend this hotel for everyone. There is free internet service, the rooms are very comfortable and clean, the breakfast is much more than continental, overall it was a great choice.

Charming rooms,free internet access in the lobby, sometimes free apples, sometimes free brownies, fabulous breakfast buffet - the best hotel we stayed at on our European trip and very reasonably priced.
