Thon Hotel Stefan Oslo

I and my wife enjoyed our stay at Thon Hotel Stefan Oslo. We enjoyed their breakfast and staff were warm and friendly. At our request we were given a quiet room on 3rd Floor.

Great hotel in Olso city center.

Nice business hotel, located right in the center of Oslo. No free internet, unfortunately. No room service.

The room was spacious and clean enough, the carpet could have been cleaned better. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and had a larger bath than one would expect. The height from the floor to ceiling was a bit tight for a taller person when taking a shower. The tram passing out front also made quite a racket. The wifi was not for free, unlike I was led to believe by various sites, but when I went to check-out, the credit card reader was u/s, so all charges were waived. The breakfast was very extensive, and absolutely a delicious way to start a day. Finally, the location is excellent for the major attractions in Oslo. I can wholly recommend this hotel.

Great central location close to transport and city. Service good and excellent breakfast included in room rate. Rooms small but fine. A little noisy from other guests but may not be an issue normally. Definitely recommended

If you're looking for a decent hotel to stay for you & a partner while exploring Oslo then this is perfect. Close to everything.

A nice hotel, but with a bit to small rooms and pricy internett access.

Great location, in the city center, two blocks away from the popular shopping and dining area and only a 10-min walk to the port. (Then again the city is really small). The hotel is basic, but clean and staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included and offers a good and fresh buffet. Compared to the prohibitive cost of everything in Oslo, this is a great deal (paid €135 for a double room). I recommend taking the express airport bus from the airport to the Radisson SAS in the center, but get off at the next to last stop and the hotel is a 2-3-min walk away. Get a roundtrip ticket (much cheaper). Would go back and recommend.

Really lovely hotel. Staff very friendly. Just 2 blocks from the main street so very central. Nice hotel bar also. Hotel staff very friendly and a great breakfast is to be had!

Good hotel in the scenter og Oslo, short distance to all of Oslo `s main attractions. Remember that the hotel gives 30% of on the parking ticket...

The first room we got was very noisy because of a bar on the other side of the street that played loud music until 3 AM in the morning! And this was a Tuesday night, not a weekend. The next night we had another room which was quiet.

Excellent if you are planning to see the Oslo nightlife - right in the centre of the action!!

the room we got was great and a lot larger than what I had expected.

Unfortunately had a room towards the street this time & the tram woke me up 5:45 am, so ask for a room away from the street if staying at this hotel.

When taking a shower water was floating all over.

This hotel has very nice rooms which are both comfortable, clean and pleasant to spend time in. Some of the rooms unfortunately overlook a busy nightspot area, so if you have the windows open you may be distracted by trams rolling by and music and noise from pubs and nightclubs. However, the rooms have excellent airconditioning so there is no need to open the window at all. The breakfast buffet is excellent.

Very nice room in the 8th floor with a small balcony. We would very much like to stay at the same hotel another time

Very comfortable, well located and about a third cheaper than worse hotels situated more fashionably under 100m away. Recommended.

Very good service, nice hotel & very nice location.

I ordered the room the night before arrivals. It was a tipple room, and the price I god trough Hotel Club was much better that what the Hotel offered me when I called them. The breakfast was also very good.
