Huge apartment with fantastic views. Walking distance to Cavill St mall and beach. Very secure building. Only problem was insufficient hot water for showers for 4 people. Would definately stay there again.
Old building, but quite good and very spacious. Love the airy feeling of the place and its very high so it has a very nice view.

The hotel was very clean. The management were helpful and courteots during our stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay/ There is very good underground parking and it is close enough to walk to most venues.
Room & facilities were excellent. Great view, close to everything, and excellent value for money considering the location and room.
It was a good hotel but I think it needs to be renovated in the bathrooms and balcony areas. An outdoor table on the balcony would be advantageous and a dishwasher in all apartments would be a worthwhile expense. Basically, it was very comfortable and I would consider staying there if I visited Surfers paradise again.
Spacious Apartment, great view of canals
My children and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were enormous. The facilities in the apartment were great. The pools were terrific, as was the outdoor BBQ area and gardens. The hotel is located just a short walk to the beach, and a comfortable walk into the heart of Surfers Paradise and all it has to offer. The hotel was also a comfortable drive to major shopping centres and the theme parks. I thoroughly recommend Thornton Towers.
Apartment is spacious. Facilities are well maintain and public transports are at door step which is convenient to travel around the city. Reception staff is very friendly.
This hotel impressed us very much with the size of the apartments and the beautiful views across the Nerang River. I would definitely choose to stay here again on future visits to the Gold Coast.
