Right in the middle of Avenida da Boavista, one of the most modern residential areas of the new business district of the city, rises the hotel. The hotel is only 20 minutes away from the International airport and 10 minutes away from the beautiful beaches of Foz. Getting there:From A1 Motorway - follow signs to Oporto, in the direction of Arrabida Bridge. After passing the bridge, turn second right to Bessa Leite when coming from the south. If arriving from the north, take the Boavista exit. The hotel is located on Avenida da Boavista, on the right corner of the business district, three kilometres from the city centre.

Great hotel, excellent room, professional staff and service, great restaurant and other facilities. Really a 5 stars hotel. The only minus - dirty windows.
Bad hairdryers and too bad there was no swimming pool. For the rest everything was super: great breakfast, big rooms and very friendly staff. You get a porto at the welcoming
We enjoyed our 3 days at the LMPAHP and would certainly return. Room was perfect with beautiful view over the city (12th floor). Roomservice perfect, restaurant good, breakfast excellent. The old town is to far by feet but bus 201 stops in front of the hotel and brings you there in less than 15 minutes.
What a surprise an upgrade. Stayed in August for 3 nights and it was SUPERB. It is a distance from the old city but plenty of taxis and bus just outside.

Great location; in walking distance of the Boavista roundabout, good for shopping! The hotel restaurant was very good for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I only missed not having a pool or gym, since morning runs in this area are ou of the question!
got a very cheap deal for an excellent 5 star hotel. the actual location is in the CBD, so not able to walk to centre, but average taxi fair for a group of 4 was no more than 6 euros. would definitely use the hotel for Porto again. Good hotel bar for drinks and cocktails, and very good breakfast

Le Meridien is a lovely hotel in every aspect. Rooms are decorated in calming earthly tones and beds are very good. Also the service is excellent and breakfasts good. Worth the money You pay for !

Located in the business district not far from Metro, only a 5-10 to main square area. The hotel restaraunt was fabulous, try the Monkfish...very tasty!! Oh..and the crepes for dessert...yum! We had a wonderful stay.
