Timhotel Italie Paris Guest Reviews

Butte aux Cailles brings back the ambience of Paris of the French people. Small cafes, bread shops, book stores, narrow streets, no tourists and tour guides. It's another Paris that is so beautiful. Hotel is a few steps to everything. My room has a nice balcony. Breakfast is above average. Excellent value for Paris.

I found the location very good - It took me 20 minutes of walking to get to Panthéon. There is a nice park close to the hotel where I could run in mornings. The metro station Corvisart is literally behind the corner. The hotel itself is nevertheless situated in a quiet street. I liked the stay a lot. The only thing I did not like - there were no fruits and vegetables offered for breakfasts.

We had a good experience of this hotel. Although it was a bit rough it was good value for the money. The biggest problem with the room was the shower. Almost useless as it more or less was no pressure at all in the system. So, if you can bare with the useless showers this a good hotel for you.

A simple hotel to spend the night in a quiet area. The area of the room was very good for the Paris standards but unfortunately one wall of the room was next to the lift box and, since it was on the last floor, each time the lift was used the noise of the mechanism was a little annoying, especially if you want the go to sleep early. The furniture needs replacement and the closet is just a shelf with no doors making the room a little messy since clothes are visible. The cold buffet breakfast was very good the only difference for the standard buffet breakfast offered in other places being the absence of bacon and eggs. Nice price/quality ratio.

Good location in "la butte aux Cailles" . Not far from Corvisar metro station which you can use to go to Gare de Lyon. Bathroom pretty small, shower door busted. Wonder whether a big person could fit in the shower! Otherwise nice hotel.

The shower cabin entrance was too narrow even for a normal-sized person (a bigger-sized person must've forced his way in that's why the upper rails for the sliding doors were detached!). It would've been better to use curtains instead of sliding plastic panels.

We arrived at 12:30 and they hadn't finished cleaning the room so they gave us a room down the hall. There was a nice rotating fan which was needed as Paris is hot in the summer. The vaccum cleaner is noisy in the morning but the other times it was ok. It's on a great Metro line for touring the eiffel tour, and versailles.

I picked the cheapest option for the stay here so I cannot comment on the other rooms. The room was large and clean and good value for money (I have stayed in worse hotels in Paris for much more money). About a 5 min walk to the nearest metro.
