"I did not lay eyes on any hotel staff the whole time I was there. The unit was like a sauna; downstairs air con ineffective, upstairs air con in main bedroom worked well but did nothing to cool the second bedroom which had only a noisy fan. The unit was poorly maintained and at least 3 lightglobes were not working. Thank god we only had 2 nights booked! It was about 5km from Port Douglas CBD. It was certainly not worth the money we paid ($175 per night for 2 bedroom) and certainly not worthy of its 3.5 star rating. Very disappointing." - Maureen Rahman
