"Excellent aparthotel nearer Praia da Rocha than Portimao. Brand new with large rooms, excellent swimming pool and ideal children's pool. Very close to 2 different beaches - the first is within the River Arade / marina breakwater and has calm shelving water. The second, right on the other side of the breakwater, is the easterly end of the magnificent Praia da Rocha beach - again shelving but with occasional "surf". Good choice of restaurants at the marina, and many more up some easy steps on the Praia da Rocha "strip". Some of the junior suites (the ones without the separate living area) are a few minutes walk away, around part of the marina (meaning a walk to breakfast, and a longer walk to the beaches). The others seemed to be much better located. Breakfast good, but could be improved with a little variety on different days. Hotel seemed to be getting in the swing for summer with BBQs and live entertainment on some nights. " - Anonymous

Getting there: From Faro Airport

When leaving Faro Airport take the road which joins the E.N. 125 and follow signs for the dual carriage way IP 1 – Via do Infante heading towards Portimão/Lisboa.

Continue on the IP 1 in the direction of Portimão/Albufeira/Lisboa then head towards Portimão (A 22) until the exit for Portimão.

Head towards Portimão Centro/Praia da Rocha and go through the Cardosas tunnel which joins the V6. Continue on the V6 in the direction of Praia da Rocha.

Go straight across the first roundabout (Modelo Supermarket on your left, McDonalds on your right), go straight across the second roundabout and then on to the roundabout which has a small fountain and is next to the sea. Turn left here and follow the signs to Marina de Portimão.
