Just a few minutes from the Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Elysée, with excellent public transport links; airport bus minutes away. Very friendly staff in hotel, both on reception and in breakfast restaurant. Our two bedrooms were compact but clean, though one lacked any shelving, and the other a room safe. Mini mini-bar reasonably priced for a Paris hotel. Overall, good and we'd stay again.
Nice room, close to everything, friendly staff
Very friendly staff. Nice location near the metro station. Free Internet.
The location of Tivoli Hotel Etoile is very good, i.e. very close to the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs-Elyssées avenue. The Louvre and the Eiffel tower are also within walking distance. If you arrive on a Ryanair flight to Beauvais the hotel is within walking distance from where the airport express bus stops. The breakfast is crap and not at all worth 12 Euro, - and they don't tell you that it is not included until you check out. You can get a much better breakfast for a third of the price at one of the cafés just around the corner. The rooms are ok, but the bedsheets are very old. The bathrooms are quite decent and seem to have been renovated not long ago. The air condition only has a on/off button so you can choose between oxygen or being cold. Anyway, considering the price this is actually a good alternative as most hotel rooms in central Paris are extremely expensive for their size and standard.
Staff were great, would go back again
Very basic, claustrophic room for two. No window except glass door onto internal courtyard and adjacent to cleaners's store which guaranteed an early morning wake up. With breakfast included in room rate it is fine for a quick business stop over in central Paris. The place was clean and the staff very helpful. But I would not use it again for a pleasure visit. The room I was allocated was just too small and basic for comfort.
Very good basic hotel.
The hotel is fine, good value for money in every respect, except breakfast which I think is rather expensive for what os offered.
I found exactly what I was looking for: a small hotel, reasonably priced, close to the Arc de Triomphe-Place Charles de Gaulle. The hotel offers free internet in the rooms and the breakfast at 12€ is fair.
Good enough hotel with small rooms but close to tourist facilities and restaurants. I liked free wifi and they were very good about storing luggage until our departure.
Stayed in a twin room which was very compact but staff were friendly and location was good. A good choice given the price.
Ideally located in (our favourite) the 8th Arrondissement. Certainly compares favourably with other hotels in the 100 Euro bracket though, in fairness, they tend to be much of a muchness. They lost a point on pricing for not including breakfast.
Great location, clean rooms
Great location... right off the shuttle bus at the Arc De Triomph stop... close to subway and Champs Elysees... Free Economist and Time magazines...
For a first time staying in Paris, this was a lovely little hotel situated within the Champs Elysees. A close stroll to the Metro and rail network, it was an ideal spot to stay. The hotel staff were extremely welcoming and kind throughout our stay. The only negative comment I have is that our room had a lingering cigarette odour and that the top sheets were slightly dirty. For value for money this hotel is respectable and is suitable for first time travelers who want to be centrally located.
Very nice hote for Paris and cheap, would recommend you stay there.
Tiny room, old bed cover, but overall the hotel was great for our purpose. It felt clean, and we were able to lengthy walks to both the eiffel tower and notre dame from it.
The hotel is marvellous.
Rooms are a bit small, but the location was great; very central. Upgrade from single to double room for Eur4.
Fabulous location 2 minutes walk to Arc de Triomphe. Very friendly staff, small but clean well appointed rooms and excellent breakfast
