Set on its own gardens on a hillside within the picturesque town of Lagos, the Tivoli Lagos is designed with all the character and charm of a little village. Spacious and comfortable , the bedrooms are all Air-conditioned and have bathrooms, hair dryers, direct-dial telephones, satellite colour TV, minibar, tea and coffee making facilities and balconies or terraces where you can relax in privacy. Duna Beach Club (1.5 miles away), also owned by the Hotel, with restaurant, bar, fresh-water swimming pool and tennis courts it is served by regular courtesy shuttle bus.

Very friendly hotel and staff with excellent service. Very accomodating also for families with small kids.
It should be indicated that the hotel is the main venue for retired guests. We awere on our Honey Moon and got a bit of a shock being surrounded by 99% of old peolpe. One think I did not like about the hotel was that breaKFAST WAS THE SAME EVERY DAY FOR 5 DAYS.
Very nice hotel. Rooms a bit small but OK. Close to towns. Perfect place to stay and look around. Hope to be going back later in the year for a longer stay.

I was pleasantly surprised at this hotel - it was rated with 3 stars and that is what I expected, however it was of a 5 star standard resort. It was very clean, the rooms were very modern and the service was fantastic. Also very cheap price for what it was, although I am unsure as to whether that is Portugal in general as I was travelling on the pound (unbelievably cheap). I would definitely stay there again.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Tivoli Lagos Hotel. The staff were very accomodating and helpful, the breakfast was plentiful and good and the shuttle to the beach club was great.

Tivoli was in a wonderful location right near the city center and their beach club was very nice and clean. The buffet breakfast was also impresive. Overall, I had a wonderful stay.
