Toko City Hotel Umeda Osaka

We liked our staying at Toko City Umeda Osaka Hotel. Bathroom small but with all facilities. TV selection not very large.

Good hotel overall, breakfast was good too

It's very reasonable considering its location. One stop away by metro from the mainline station and/or shopping and business district in Umeda. The bed was nice and firm, just the way I like personally. The only drawback is its bathroom which is rather small, and tall people (like myself) might find it rather uncomfortable...

Just above subway station. Busy streets and huge shopping mall nearby. Good and cheap food around. Huge supermarket just across the road, with extensive range of bento boxes which are prepared at the premises. Plenty of fruits also available. Will stay here when I visit Osaka next time. The rates of the rooms are surprisingly cheaper than others. The staff are very helpful.

Rooms were well-sized for Japan, clean and comfortable. Shops and some restaurants nearby which is handy (very good noodle bar just across the road!). Close to the JR station on the Loop Line (about 3 mins walk) which connects to Osaka.

Other than not having a closet to put my suitcase in, the tiny room does allow the single traveller all the comfort he needs. While its not in the heart of the Shopping belt, being one subway station away from it, is actually rather relaxing. Staff are friendly and always eager to help you, although the number of english speaking staff is limited and can cause quite a queue when all english speaking customers crowd around the reception for help.

Good location as it is conveniently located at intersection of JR and subway lines. A lot of sources for food that is within 5min walk from the hotel, with a supermarket just opposite the road. Its a good place to stay if you want to be away from the rowdy Osaka station but yet not too far away from all the entertainment.

Hotel was very conveniently located above the subway station, however it was not on a direct line from Shin-Osaka Station. Room was beautifully presented and extremely clean. A little on the small side, but excellent presentation, efficient use of space and free internet access in the lobby more than made up for it! Just around the corner from endless undercover shopping mall with good cheap eats.
