Rooms and facilities good but reception staff not very communicative with no eye contact and this gave it a feeling of not being wanted. Cleaning staff very good though.
This hotel has a good location and is quite OK for the price. However I had a problem with the bed mattress. I could feel the springs inside it, so it wasn't good for sleeping. I asked them to change it with a newer one, and they did it (just replaced it with another one taken from another room), but it also was of similar quality. So if you have a back problem, or care about your back, I cannot recommend this hotel (until they realize it's time for the mattresses to be replaced with new ones).
A charming hotel right in the heart of the city. The room was small but simply perfect. I stayed on the 13th floor and had an impressive view over the city and the mountains surrounding Hiroshima. The window was strangely low so it gave the whole room quite an interesting balance. Staff did not speak very good English, if at all, but were still all extremely helpful and did all they could to answer my questions. The internet worked flawlessly even though I had to "rent" (for free) a router to transform the password protected wireless internet signal to an ethernet one. The toilet and shower were very small but still efficient. Price was excellent considering location, quality of room and attitude of the staff. I sincerely recommend the hotel.
An exceptionally good hotel, very modern, superbly finished, and very good staff. The procedure to use the internet was a bit of a bat-fight.. and not cheap.. Superb reception area,. Restaurants and bars exceptional. The views are wonderful. I noticed a bad review on this website relating to the poor air conditioning..It was superb..it was so quiet and subtle, that you don't realise it's on. The hotel has its own ferry to the nearby island. It is a 20minute bus ride from the centre of Hiroshima, its location next to the water makes up for that. Buses run regularly right up to the front door, and a tram takes you to within walking distance.. I have already recommended it to others.
Tokyu Inn was a great hotel for our stay of 8 nights in Hiroshima. Quite a good size room for Japan, but best of all in a great location. Not far to walk to the Peace Park, street cars, restaurants and city centre, also a 24 hour convenience shop across the road. I would recommend it to anyone going to Hiroshima as it was one of the best hotels we stayed in and we were sorry we did not stay in a Tokyu Inn in Kyoto as the hotel we chose there was very small in comparison. Also like to add [your website] (and I am not being paid for this coment!) is a great site, used other internet sites for accommodation on this trip and the hotels did not live up to the descriptions - ratings and descriptions on this site I have always found reliable.
Close to shopping centre, great view from room, 700 yen by taxi from central station, spacious for Japan standards. Excellent value for money, very recommended, best hotel we stayed in Japan.
Single room was excellent in size. My room had a sofa and small table in addition to the bed and work area. Carpet in room appeared to be somewhat dirty, but otherwise everything was clean. Would stay there again.
The hotel is very clean and the staff were frendly and willing to help make my stay as comfortable as possible. The view of the city was excellent and close to the major shopping ares and attactions. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel.
The hotel was excellent, thanks for your assistance.
