Top Hotel Prague Guest Reviews

The location is a bit far from the center. you need a taxi each time and it costs around 350-500 CK..

3 out of 5

This is a huge hotel (more than 900 rooms), more appropriate for group tours than independent travellers. It is far from the center, you have to take a bus and the metro to get to the Old Town. Although it does not too long (approx 35 minutes), if you want to stay up until late it can be a problem, since the public transport stops running after 12:30 am. The staff is not particularly friendly. Positive points: size of the room and breakfast. Coming back to Prague, I would stay in a more centraly located hotel, even if I have to pay more for that.

The hotel is in an unattractive development area well out of the centre of Prague. However, public transport from the hotel is good and the centre can be reached in about 40 minutes. There is an indoor swimming pool but no outdside pool. Use of the pool costs 7 Euros per hour and as a result is not much used. Restaurants in the hotel are OK and reasonably priced. Good for conferences but not an ideal location for tourists.

The hotel is located on Chodov, a suberb of Prague, and is reached via the very efficient metro and then a bus which stops right outside the hotel. Overall the journey to the centre of Prague takes about half an hour. The main business of the hotel is hosting conferences and it is very well geared to mass catering and coping with the demands of its many visitors. The standard of comfort is good and the facilities excellent. When I had a problem in my room my call was answered within 5 minutes. I would certainly choose this hotel again.

This hotel is rather away from city centre and the nearest Metro, so it should have ATM (Bankomat). Also there are no English language news channels on the TV. Very helpful staff. Good congress facility.

Excellent hotel at the price we got it for (28 euros/night).

Great value for your money! Just be aware that the bus from Chodov to the Hotel runs every 30 min (from around 5 pm until 00:30) so plan your return carefully.

Very nice hotel. Excellent breakfast and the bus to the metro station just in front of the hotel. Staff very nice. Room was ok but the bathroom too small. Good for the money.

We stayed in this hotel 2 weeks ago. It was very good value for money, I paid GBP 17 for a double room including brilliant breakfast. It was clean, tidy and quiet. City centre is about 15-20 min by bus and underground and it costs CZK 20. (if you think corridors are dark, switch on the lights :-))

The main lobby and other facilities were OK! Rooms in comparison to the price good enough! The breakfast buffet was rich enough but not a high quality! The main problem is the location! About 75 min away from the airport and no night-service!

The hotel rooms were very, very large, but nothing really special. It's a great hotel, for example the SPA is nice, the casino, etc. The location is outside the city center, but you can easily take a taxi for 350 CZK or take a 24 hour public transport day card for just 120 CZK. (for 3 day's is only a little bit more!) Bus stops right in front of the hotel! Overall, great!

This has to be the place to stay when in Prague. The only thing I would want to make it perfect is Bacon for breakfast and use of the pool included in price.

7th time I visited top hotel. I like it. There is a good /short connection to metro station. Good breakfastbuffet. Clean rooms. This time it was a bit noisy because of a lot of rugbyballteams in the hotel.

An excellent 4* star hotel. Good services, facilities, claeanlinees and helpful staff. A good choice of resaturants in the hotel, as well as a gym, swimmming pool and sauna all included in the price. The hotel has a 24 hour casino.

Expensive bar but the sport bar was much more reasonable (provided you can resist the "bandits". Swimming pool prices a rip off though.

Very nice hotel, excellent service with frinedly helpful staff. Varied menu in all restaurants, with competitive prices. Lots of information given for Prague, with many handy hints for new visitors, colurful maps and travel guides provided freely. Highly recommended hotel

Three room was very basic and very dated. The two single beds were arranged toe to toe along a wall in order to fit a bed in for our son - very unusual!! However the hotel itself was lovely, the pool, bowling alley, restaurants etc great. It is a long way out of the city but a bus stop outside the hotel takes you to the nearest metro station to get a metro into Prague itself. This hotel was very good value for money.

Top Hotel is a spacious, neat and clean place to stay with nice facilities and polite and helpful staff. I also found it has a range of restaurants which are reasonably priced. After having tried two, I can say the food was good too. However, there is a modest extra charge to use the spa & pool facilities (which are decent too). This hotel is well connected by public transport which is a bonus. One can get short bus ride to the nearest Prague Metro station from right outside the Hotel's main entrance. So reaching Prague is city centre is very easy & fast.
