We actually had a room in a different building that is not annexed to the main hotel. The room was small, but clean. The staff, especially the concierges are great.
Hotel is good, location is great, but the reception staff weren't very nice nor helpful.
The hotel is in the best position, easy access to attractions by walk and by boat, price is reasonable, front office staff offer very friendly service.
Check-out 1100 enforced strictly! Room smallish (but who comes to Venice to sit in a hotel room anyway!) with two single beds pushed together instead of a double. Breakfast great, but cramped room, so pays to get there early as possible. Concierges helpful with maps, directions, reconfirming bookings etc. Would stay there again for sure.
Hotel well situated to reach many of Venice's main sites. Staff friendly and helpfull. The small size of the breakfast room was the only downside.
We really liked this hotel. The location is great. It is somewhat difficult to get to [as almost all hotels in Venice]. Print out the directions, with the map, before you go.
Good place to stay in Venice - very close to St Mark's church and very near a public station Giglio. Hotel staff was very helpful.
my 4th visit to venice, torino good friendly staff, and great position near san marco.
Breakfast room was too small for the amount of guests - but they did offer room service for free to try and alleviate that. Room 318 was not a double room, two single beds put together - and the bathroom was grungy with mozaic type tiling with ancient grouting, hole in the floor for plug and shower curtain. (they said it was being renovated next week - but they are still renting it out ????) But the second room we got was in line with what we were paying. Reception was friendly.
the reception is very nice, the staff can speak very fluent english. The facilities are all ready.
Good service and location.
It's a nice and quiet hotel. This is in the city, nearly to St Mark's square. The service was very good.
My wife and me stayed 4 nights at this hotel from 4 march 2007. The personal was helpful and polite. We came with the waterbus from Marco Polo to San Marco. We had som problems finding the hotel, but 2 policeman we meet adviced us. It was a sentral place to stay for reaching all town by walking.
This hotel is in a great location in the since that is a short walk to San Marco square and the water bus is just around the corner. The only thing bad about this hotel is that if you book it and the main part of the hotel is full they may put you in the "New Part" which is not so new but looks like a converted house. The rooms in this part are dark and the breakfast room look a little tired. The "New Part" is in need of some work, even the main part of the hotel could use some work on the bathrooms. Even in the main hotel the breakfest room is small and if there are alot of guest there is not much room. In my opinion your paying for the location and not for much more.
While the location is excellent, the service and price do not give value for money. The breakfast experience is one to avoid, now I no want sardines feel like!!!!
Good but way too expensive.
The location of the hotel is fantastic and the friendly staff made it a really enjoyable experience.
Torino Hotel was beautiful. Spacious rooms which were very clean. The staff were extremely helpful and the breakfast each morning was wonderful... an absolute delight.
The staff were all very friendly and only to happy to offer their knowledge on the area and it's tourist attractions.
Fantastic location near St Mark's. Rooms good, bathroom very clean. Breakfast room small but fine. Staff friendly and helpful. Absolutely no complaints, we would stay again.
