Getting there:From the North: Leave the M5 at Junction 14. Follow the B4509 towards Wotton.On the B4509, go up the hill and take the first right into Tortworth road. After half a mile, the hotel is on the right hand side up a long drive. From the South: Leave M5 at junction 14, signposted to Dursley. At the T junction turn right onto the B4509 and follow directions above. On arrival by car, please drive up to reception and check in first. You will then be directed to the closest car park to your room.
Check-in Procedure:Check in time Monday - Thursday is anytime from 3.00pm, and from 4.00pm Friday - Sunday. Guests are more than welcome to arrive prior however and still make use of all the hotel facilities.
Car parking:The hotel has private car parking which is free of charge
Child Policy:We do not have family rooms as such, however most of our rooms are large enough to accommodate put up beds. Only a limited number of these are available however so please contact the hotel at the time of booking, shoud you require one.
i have stayed at this hotel twice and on both occasions the heating was off when we got in our room, so the welcome is not that warm. i would gladly pay an extra pound for the heating of the room if thats what it costs, or maybe it is due to hositality. Next time i go to this beautiful hotel, i think i will phone on the morning to ensure the heating is on in our room prior to our arrival
Lovely atmospher the from the smiley helpful staff lovely surroundings, the hotel itself was so steeped in history and had had so many different 'lives' I would have thought it a perfect place to stop and write a book. A wonderful experience. Facinating.
Service was practically non-existent on this occasion and the hotel temperature was really really hot for some reason. Previous stays were significantly better.
Very nice hotel and Leisure complex, That aside, the food was excellent, nice pool and great massage!
