Getting there:BY CAR FROM SUD ITALY (A14):(exit 7 from the Tangenziale),turn left onto Via Stalingrado after crossing a bridge over the train station, turn left again onto "Berti Pichat".Stay on this road. You will arrive at Piazza di Porta Castiglione and here take the right onto Viale XII Giugno. At the end of this road you will arrive at Piazza dei Tribunali- FROM NORTH (A1) Exit "Bologna Casalecchio" and follow Asse Attrezzato Sud-Ovest for 1 km, go ahead and follow Via Camellini for 4 km and then Viale Pietro Nenni for 1 km until Bologna. n follow Via Tolmino for 426 mt. Then turn left, follow Via Sabotino for 700 mt. At the and of Via Sabotino, turn right toward Porta S. Mamolo.After the 4th street light Keep the left,the first street on the left VIA SAVENELLA,following the Hotel sign you will reach the Piazza Dei Tribunali. Great hotel, large & modern rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast & great location close to centre of city and bus stops to all parts of city. Remember to request room with air-conditioning as opposed to fan if visiting in July/August.
Excellent hotel close to everything. Very quiet - best sleep in all Italy! Rooms of good size for Europe; generous bathroom. Great rooftop garden. Friendly, helpful staff. Sufficient breakfast. Taxi from railway under 10 euro; from airport under 20 euro.

It is a little bit far off from the very center. But there is a bus nearby or you can reach the center in 10 min. Single room was on the small side but comfortable and clean.
Simple hotel with nice furnishings and a decent breakfast. Location was good just a 5 minute walk to the centre. Staff were friendly and helpful. I will stay here again the next time i come to Bologna.
An excellent hotel. Very friendly welcome from the staff on arrival, very helpful etc. The room was very clean and comfortable. Its located about a 5-10 minute walk from the Plaza Maggiore. I'd certainly stay there again.

Adorable, older hotel with extremely helpful, friendly staff and a lovely rooftop terrace with views of the city on one side and hills on the other side. Great location- close to main square and 1/2 block from basilica with a little statue by Michelangelo. Good continental breakfast. No refrigerators in room.

Excellent location, right in the city center. You can easily walk to all the sights. The hotel is in a narrow street with hardly any traffic, which makes it very quiet. The staff is extremely nice. Good breakfast.
We enjoyed our stay at the Touring Hotel. It was clean. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was very convenient, only just outside the city but very quiet. One very small criticism. Tea i.e. English tea needs boiling water and the water available for breakfast tea making was not hot enough. Nothing to do with the hotel but do the 3 1/2 km "portico walk" to San Luca. Lovely rooms with an excellent location.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location of this Hotel is central to Bologna and near the areas visitors go to, yet also has a roof garden and jacuzzi. Breakfasts were superb. Thoroughly reccomended
