Townhouse Hotel & Conference Centre Cape Town

Great breakfast, nice lobby and restaurants, rooms have been upgraded and are very nice, bed comfortable. Problem with airconditioner on first day/night. Hotel changed us to another room, but had the same problem there. Finally felt it kick in the following morning, but the weather was cooler, so not sure if this is always a problem or was fixed. The remaining nights were cool, so no further problems. Would stay there again.

Good location, good hotel, good price - what else do you need !

The city centre location is excellent for those who enjoy touring cities on foot. Also within 5 minutes walk of stop 5 of the city tour hop on-hop off bus. The hotel restaurant offers excellent value for money dining. On site car parking is inexpensive. The hotel is very easy to find from the international airport.

The rooms in this hotel have been renovated and are modern with appealing decor and nice fresh linens. The rooms are quite small but still comfortable and have desk area with free interenet connection. The restaurant and room service food was very good and well priced. The hotel is located centrally and within an easy walk to the Cape Town central city area and a short taxi ride to the V&A Waterfront. Staff were friendly and courteous.

the front desk staff were not friendly and helpful however it was a pleasant stay.

This is moderate sized hotel of high standard (4*)in a good, close to shopping / retail centre location in Cape Town. Freindly, unintrusive, secure with secure (paid for) parking. Neat tasteful reasonable sized rooms. Good restaurant, excellent hot breakfastincluded in our tariff. We will return.

Our stay was during the renovations to the lobby area so our ratings reflect this fact. Overall, the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Dylan []

Great room at a fantastic price. Taxi to Waterfront only takes around 5 minutes. Didn't seem to be a lot around the hotel but I was only there Sat/Sun - probably busier during the week. I did a tour of Cape Point and Table Mountain - both highly recommended.

Very supportive front desk about everything(parking,concerts.opera etc) The breakfast as well as the food in the restaurant was excellent end positive employees serving. The location is very good since Waterfront is within walking distance. The reason for the 4 rating on facilities is due to the fact that they were reconstructing/rebuilding the hotel during our stay,

The Towonhouse hotel was more than we expected. Although the hotel was under renovation it never interferred with the quality of service. Our rooms were great, the breakfast excellent, the service at the fromt desk etc. was friendlly and helpful. The location was perfect. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. PRICE was excellent!!

We stayed at the Townhouse Hotel for several days in August 2008 and would recommend it strongly. Probably the best hotel we used during our visit to South Africa. The rooms were very well furnished in a modern style and the included breakfasts were excellent. It is not on the waterfront but is downtown, walking distance from the train station and the main attractions. The price was also very reasonable.

Very pleasant visit very nice hotel, but not safe to walk to convention centre. Staff very friendly. Presilla was an absolute delight and went out of her way . Thanks Parking a problem, to pack in the parking garage next door very pricey. Overnight agreement could be till 8 - 830 am for the night fee.

Hotel room have just been refurbished and was well appointed. Easy wireless internet access. Good location for all Cape Town's facilities. A very pleasant stay.

A great stay and excellent service!

The staff were all very courteous and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was excellent. Parking arrangements very good, especially for a hotel located in the City centre - we would definitely choose this hotel again.

A pleasure to stay at the Townhouse.Every thing provided was first class.especially resturant and reception staff nothing was too much trouble Would definately recommend it to friends as a base to view Capetown.

If you want a central location in Cape Town this is a great choice.Comfortable , quiet and convenient, terrific breakfasts , good restaurant.

Hotel was great - we only stayed here 4 nights in total but it was by far the highest standard of hotel we stayed in (the other end of the scale was [other hotel name]!!!!!). We experienced a power cut one night and the porter climbed all 9 flights of stairs to bring us a candle. Only thing missing is a swimming pool but because the hotel was such a great location, we were so busy elsewhere. Would also highly recommend the city sightseeing tour bus (hop on hop off for ZAR100) which stops 2 mins walk from the hotel.

This is an excellent hotel, nicely located with superb friendly service. Restaurant is of good quality. Breakfast was included and was of high quality. Rooms are modest in size but tastefully decorated and furnished. Parking is very secure. My wife and I have no hseitiation in recommending the Town House Hotel.
