Traders Inn Bandar Seri Begawan

A great new modern hotel, with decent size rooms, staff helpful, and free Wi-fi, which worked well. Not in the city, but only a short bus ride to the city. Buses run about every half hour, and only cost B$ 1.00. Only a half hour walk or take the bus to the Suburb of Gadong, a huge shopping area, with a big shopping centre, called simply "The Mall".

Perfect hotel for a transit. Make sure you email the hotel to book the airport transfer for $BD10. The guy waited patiently for me to get through immigration and then happily told me about the sites of BSB on the way to the hotel. Hotel is a little out of town but you can catch the bus for $BD1 although it's not very frequent & full when it does pass. The hotel also offers a transfer into town for $BD10. My room was clean, had all the basics for a short stay and breakfast included in the rate. For half the price of other hotels in BSB, I have no reason to complain.

Clean & Simple. Fine for an overnight transit. Make sure you book airport transfers through the Hotel in advance.

It is a clean and nice hotel with good restaurant surrounded. I would said it defintely worth for the price. The employees from the hotel is friendly and good manners. Although it is not located in the town center, but is only 5 mins away with car. If the tv programs can have more choices, then there is nothing much to complain.

Friendly staff were the best feature. The wifi service to rooms was excellent. Breakfast would be better if fruit was made available.

It was certainly a good value for money. There's a bus stop (route 55 if I didn't get it wrong) right across the road. It only costs $1 to go to town. The room is in reasonable size, tidy and clean. They even offered a discounted drop-off at the airport for $5 per person. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

Enjoyed our stay at the Traders Inn, excellent location, service very freindly and accomadating..good resturants / supermarket close to hotel..Brunei an excellent place to visit, lovely people.

The only fault i can make is its location.The staff were always very helpful, but the location requires you to taxi everywhere. For your imformation taxi:airport to hotel $BN20.00 hotel to city $BN13.00

Excellent staff, very friendly, lovely rooms although smelt quite alot of smoke, so ask for a non smoking room. Pretty far from centre but great for a transit stay. Eat in the local cafes... amazing and very cheap.

the overall service etc was good. it would be better if the hotel was no smoking and if they had more tourist brochures, maps, things to do and especially info on how to get around eg taxi numbers, bus info etc. thanks overall enjoyable

The best experience in this hotel is the shuttle driver, Jimmy. He drives for free between the hotel and downtown Begawan, and gives you gladly some tips about the sights (which there aren`t lots of). There is a supermarket and some restaurants nearby (ask jimmy!). The rooms are large and clean and with HBO. The breakfast could have been better, but all in all this is one of the best (and cheapest) choices in BSB.
