"iron blew the circuit breaker in the room. broken glass on the floor. remote control for TV was the wrong one. tab card in bistro recorded 3 drinks we had not consumed. to be fair the staff were quick to rectify the above when informed. upon arrival reception staff appear disinterested. "The internet connection via the TV was a con. I asked reception about connecting and they said it was only done via the TV. I tried to understand from the wording on the screen whether a 1 hour session was used by logged on minutes or one hour in a lump. The comment that you could look up on the TV how much time was left - led me to think the time was as used whilst log on. However once I had subscribed I found that even after I had closed the computer - there was no logging out and the time was clicking away. Other hotels I stay at have a hour that can be used over a year etc. I think this Hotel should explain more clearly how the internet is charged. I ended up using dial up to Bigpond at an 80c phone call each time which was far more effective and surprisingly faster than the so called Hotel Broadband for $11.45." - Charmian Gaud
