Getting there:We are located 25 mins from Perth CBD, and a 35 minute drive from the Airport. Follow Canning Highway towards Fremantle, go through the lights where Stirling Highway and Canning Highway meet, turn the first left up Sewell Street. Come into Reception and Check-in to recieve a Key Tag which will give you Complimentary access to our Security Parking located at the back of the Hotel.
Check-in Procedure:On arrival Reception requires an imprint of your Credit Card. If paying cash or eftpos you will need to pay all nights on arrival, plus a $200.00 Bond and produce a copy of a current Drivers Licence or Passport.
Car parking:We have complimentary security parking located off Sewell Street.
Child Policy:Children under 12 stay for free when using existing bedding.
Quite a nice apartment hotel, but could do with a facelift. Appreciated the free parking.
The room service was very prompt and the meals were really good value. The rooms were very clean and the staff friendly.
Our spacious Studio Rooms offer a comfortable choice of self contained accommodation, with a Queen bedroom,ensuite bathroom with shower and kitchenette. Other features include a flat screen TV, mini bar and a work desk with data port and internet access.
Our spacious two bedroom apartments accommodate up to four people, and comes with its own living and dining areas and fully equipped kitchen including a full size fridge. The master bedroom contains a Queen bed and the second bedroom has two single beds.
Old but refurbished and maintained very well. Excellent service, great bar/restaurant facility, on Swna River half hour leisurely walk to Fremantle Boat Harbour / Markets, couple of nice restaurants/bars on banks of river adjacent
Very short time stayed, so hard to really rate, but would definietly stay there again.
iron blew the circuit breaker in the room. broken glass on the floor. remote control for TV was the wrong one. tab card in bistro recorded 3 drinks we had not consumed. to be fair the staff were quick to rectify the above when informed. upon arrival reception staff appear disinterested.
The internet connection via the TV was a con. I asked reception about connecting and they said it was only done via the TV. I tried to understand from the wording on the screen whether a 1 hour session was used by logged on minutes or one hour in a lump. The comment that you could look up on the TV how much time was left - led me to think the time was as used whilst log on. However once I had subscribed I found that even after I had closed the computer - there was no logging out and the time was clicking away. Other hotels I stay at have a hour that can be used over a year etc. I think this Hotel should explain more clearly how the internet is charged. I ended up using dial up to Bigpond at an 80c phone call each time which was far more effective and surprisingly faster than the so called Hotel Broadband for $11.45.

A very good hotel if you are traveling as a family since all rooms are large and have cooking facilities and a fridge. Nice and servic minded staff. The only negative thing is the hotel breakfast. It´s VERY expensive and you don´t get much for your money.
First class accommodation and very friendly, helpful staff. Would be delighted to return sometime.

Easy to find from the airport, as the Great Eastern Highway becomes the Canning Highway which Tradewinds is on. Ideal place to stay when connecting to other parts of Western Australia. Also close to beaches such as Cottlesloe and other Northern Beaches.
The entire staff of the Tradewinds were outstanding, helpful friendly, this extended through to a new employee. Location was a small concern. Negotiating traffic to access water riverfront.
