It is a back packers type place although it is clean and maintained well, it has seen better days, but is very good value and the people are friendly and helpful and the location is great for the airport. Would stay there again

A bit of a shock. It is a backpackers and hotel combined. Econimical for food and drinks. Fairly old but everything works. Staff were good.

Loved this place, Girl at the car rental was so, so helpful. Two Ukraine girls at the counter were so friendly. Atmosphere here was so good you didn't want to leave. Location isn't the best but with hire car this wasn't a problem. Bar was very nice also. Would definately come back again. Thank you Vika and Kristy.

Okay for students or singles on a tight budget this is more of a hostel than hotel. Waited for an hour for the shuttle service.

I want to pay a compliment to you "have a chat with a real person" system - my real person was Dionne. Excellent. The place itself is a little rough looking, and in fact is also a back-packers motel. My Room was a suite, and the people were most helpful. The area is a noted for its dubious night life but I was not accosted or anything fro drugs and kept my self to myself. The free shuttle is a great asset.

The Hotel was very friendly. Good service. Food was Ok, could serve the same food but cooked a little better. The rooms were great, bed a little noisey, I think some sort of plastic under the bed. Every time you moved it made a noise. They should look into the hot water issue, it was not working. All in all for the price, it was "good", just to fine tune the little issue and it will certainly proceed to "great" It will not take much to fix the minor issues

Excellent hotel to stay in with most of the staff being friendly and helpful. Location is a bit of a bad area, but if you have a car, it is only 10 - 15 minutes from most of the beaches (Santa Monica, Venice, etc...). Highly recommend as car parking, internet access, etc... is included in the price. I have stayed here before and will stay here again in the future.

Free Shuttle to Airport! Wifi Available! Back Packers heaven! The suites are fine for a couple or two people friends! This place has a resturant and bar, very good set up. The reception couldnt be more helpful!

Very clean rooms. Good price for short stay only. Location is ok and too noisy...can hear every single airplane that lands and takes off from LAX!

I stayed in the bunkroom, and in a shared room with 4 beds. The room with 4 beds was better as I expected, with TV and fridge and phone. The bunkroom was good for a bunkroom as well. Better mattrass as expected. Staff was mostly very friendly. There was coffee/tea all day and night, and often cookies left at night from the afternoon. The setup encouraged interaction with other travelers in the partly covered courtyard, which was nice. The free dinner was not a great meal, but what can you expect for the prices charged? I was happy to have my husband book me in again for the nights I had left before my flight home.

Very reasonable for the price. Definately more a backpackers hotel but was still OK for us oldies.

What an amazing place. All the comraderie and informality of a guesthouse, with the facilities of a hotel, and everything at a really reasonable price.

Tradewinds "All Suites" hotel is good value for money. Nothing pretentious and not the most modern, but friendly staff, good sized, comfortable rooms, good restaurant and very pleasant outdoor area with swimming pool. Ideally suited to budget conscious travellers.

For the price a good place to stay. It tends to be noisey, but there are always things going on. The free dinner buffet and blueberry mufiin and warm pool are the best features. The staff isn't always perfect, but usually friendly.

We stayed in the beginning and in the end of our journey in this hotel. The second time our rooms were nicer. Ask for rooms in the back of the hotel. We can really recommend this hotel.

It is basically a backpackers hotel but quite a reasonable price to stay. It was fairly old hotel but the room was clean. Not the best part of town to stay in.
