Trang Hotel Bangkok

I had a spacious room with good views. Nice and clean. Good breakfast. I enjoyed my stay there.

When we arrived the room was really quite disgusting, the whole room smelt of dirty toilets, and the room in general was really quite horrible, it needed a good scrub. After complaining after the first night we were moved into a nicer and cleaner room, and the remainder of our stay was pleasant. This is obviously a budget hotel, but cleanliness should always be a priority for any business.

Quiet neighbourhood (except for main road) but near to Khao San and river boat. Not the nicest bathroom but at least no cockroaches.

15 minutes walk to ko-san is very handy. pool is fantasitc. staff can be a little cold and not so willing to help or be especaily welcoming. rates for food, beer, soft drinks inside to complex are three times more expensive than out on the street so i'd suggest to eat out and buy supplies from outside sources. gret place to relax by the pool through. enjoy,

good hotel even if the standard rooms are not as good as it should be. I would recommend to upgrade if possible. However location is awesome, breakfast is good, staff is very nice (especially cleaning staff). Next time we are in Bangkok we would go there again.

Great hotel, not quite near the tourist attractions but a taxi into centre is only a pound sterling.

Very good value for money and the breakfast was HUGE

Rooms are ok, but the bathrooms looks old. I'd recommend because of the breakfasts;-)

We stayed at this hotel for two days. Reception staff are polite. Room prices through [your website] are very reasonable, however, if you pay Trang Hotel prices directly then you will be paying too much!! I fyou decide to pay by credit card there is a fee of around 2.5%, which the hotel management fail to mention. The Hotel is based in a very good location close to many attractions which are all within walking distance. Room are kept clean and the restaurant offers a very good selection of food. Breakfasts are also very good.

I'ts annoying to arrive in the middle of the nigth by plane and being charged more than the quoted price

Found the hotel good,the cleanliness was good. The people were very friendly.The one thing i do recommend is for the reception to have someone on with a better understanding of english.enjoyed our stay our at the hotel.

Hotel was OK, but was a was not impressed that the room we payed extra for wireless connection didn't have wireless. in fact the Internet rates are roughly 5 time the going rate there and no WiFi. Having said that pool is great. Breakfast was not bad for the price.

At first the Trang seems tired and perhaps not great but actually staying there it is quite nice. I was there for over a week and the room was very clean and quiet and had all the amenities - fridge, air con etc. The restaurant is quite nice and good and the breakfast was good. The hotel has a large pool and its location puts you close to everything. The hallways could do with a coat of paint and there can be some language barrier problems but overall it was a good experience and the staff were nice.

i stayed at the trang 3 times in 5 weeks coming and going from bangkok very friendly smiles all around treed courtyard for breakfast pool to relax or laps only 15-20 mins flat walk to the river ferry into town a great way to get about close to the mission hospital for dental work

we were in bangkok for 9 days the trang is only 15-20 mins walk to the tha(pier) no 15 and the river ferry service which runs up and down the river which was a great service to use breakfast seated in the cool tree filled courtyard clean pool and great helpfull staff

The hotel has a very well-designed bar between the two buildings, but the location is bad. You'll have to walk around 20 minutes to the nearest market, and there is nothing nearby, except for a 7-11 10 minutes walk away.

This was my second time here and I got a better deal. The room was nicer but the air conditioning barely worked. Food and service were good, the garden area out front was remarkably nice, quiet and comfortable.

Pleasant layout considering the very urbanized surroundings. Thai food was very good (didn't order anything else).

I found the staff very helpful and friendly. Safety deposit boxes were provided free of charge. The hotel food was very reasonably priced and the inclusive buffet breakfast was excellent. The hotel is ideally situated in the centre of Bangkok within easy walking distance of the Khao San Road.

Choose this hotel because I stayed there before to my satisfaction.
