Getting there:We are located on the outskirts of Port Sorell, less than 15 minutes from the Devonport airport and Spirit of Tasmania terminal. 1 hour drive form Launceston and 3 hours from Hobart. Gumbowie Drive runs off the Devonport to Port Sorell Main Road (B74), 400 metres on the Devonport side of the Port Sorell roundabout.

Excellent accommodation, comfortable room with spa. Nothing was any trouble for our host Cathy. This was our last night in Tassie before going home on the day ferry. Although its out of Devonport we left at 7.30am and reached the dock for the Spirit of Tassie by 7.50 Great value @160.00 for the night
The service was excellent. The manager was a delightful person who was willing to do whatever it took to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was particularly delicious with homemade jams.

The gorgeous Iris Room has an elegant queen size bed and double spa ensuite, overlooking onto our walled enclosed courtyard garden. The room has television and DVD player. Wonderful weekend at Tranquilles the manager was a lovely freindly and helpful man and his cooking way great!! We would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to everyone and we hope to stay there again. Everything about it was first class. Thank you!
Found this B & B to be a very enjoyable stay. The room was a little bit squeezy but the beautiful breakfast and surroundings made up for this. Especially the lovely furnished day room that was there to be used by the guests.
No words can describe Tranquilles; it is a very beautiful place to go and relax, the food and people are fantastic. Couldnt have asked for a better stay.
