Getting there:Links via the M69, M1 and M6 motorways to all parts of the country. At junction 18 take A47 and follow signs for Hinckley. From Hinckley follow A47 to Earl Shilton. Hotel is located on Wood Street (A47) opposite the Co-op Car Park. M1 South-Juction 21a follow sign to Free Park and Ride, then to leicester forest east A47. Follow A47 to Hinckley. Hotel on the main road opposite a Supermarket. Birmingham N.E.C - 30 minutes Hinckley- 5minutes Leicester- 20 minutes Coventry- 40 minutes Stoney Cove- 5 minutes

After having found the hotel ( The signs are the wrong way round!) we were greeted by very friendly staff. The rooms are very basic but clean, wish we could have had a fan in the rooms as it was VERY HOT, and being right next to the road, a bit noisy. However you get what you pay for and, for the price not too bad.

The room was clean but small with the double bed against the wall along one side. The phones in the rooms have been removed but you can use the phone at reception to make calls (free). Couldn't get the wi-fi internet working. There was no hot water on either of the two mornings we stayed there. Continental breakfast was pretty basic. However, the staff were friendly and helpful.
