Travellers International Hotel Auckland

This was a brief stopover between flights. Bed was ok but chose not to use the shower which could have been cleaner. Cobwebs and other signs of less than clean room. Light switches with cover had come away from wall and wwires were exposed. Cheap, good shuttle ride, close to airtport, take your ear plugs.

I enjoyed the fact that we prepaid online and the staff were very courteous and friendly and helpful. They arranged a wake up call for us in the morning without us even asking for one, and the restaurant food was delicious. It was within walking distance of the motorhome depot so after dropoff we could walk back to the hotel.

room was ok, only fault would be cups were not cleaned properly. i thought it was ok for the price, although they should be alot clearer when advertising the cheap day room as myself and 3 separate other customers on the day i checked in thought this was per night as it says per night, but it is a room from 9am til 5pm only. the clerk was good though and put me in another room but for a little extra charge.

Facilities were good and the price very cheap. However the room was very dark with 2 downlight bulbs not working and another hanging out of it's socket. The coffee table was dirty with some wet sticky substance on it and bedside table had obviously not been cleaned. The cleaner wiped it down after we notified them but still found it necessary to clean ourselves after he had gone. The blind over the sliding door was tied up having to undo a knot to let down.

Window wouldn't close so there was a constant draft, there was no heating available in the room so got a bit nippy during the night. The free internet hardly worked, OK for a couple of hour stay just before a flight, but just...

It looks like it depends what room you get, this time i was lucky and room was rather clean and overall pleasant, but not always the case

Rooms were not clean, lights did not work and blind was falling down. Lighting in room very poor - may have been better if all lights worked. Dinner was OK but meat had been reheated and tasted stale. Some staff friendly but others treated us as if we were inconveniencing them by staying there. Not a very pleasant experience overall.

Room needs repainting as roof was peeling. Also no air-con so in summer might be very warm. We were only given one towel for the two of us and reception person was not very friendly and seemed confused and rang our room after checking in to see what name we had booked under?? Otherwise, very close to airport.

The room smelled damp and everything in the place was really dated. The bed was clean but a the bathroom and carpets didn't look to clean

Wow this one needs some BIG "TLC". We booked a family room for 4 persons but only 2 towels, cups, glasses etc supplied. There was rubbish under the beds and it is just run down. The airport transfers were good and timely. Car parking worked well but very casual, no register of cars kept so they would never know whoms car belonged to whom. We won't be checking in again!

Rotten floor outside shower, dirty walls, only 1 glass, cup, bowl etc. No air con but fans very dusty. Wifi good.

Chose because of location/free shuttle service.... which came promptly after calling. Hassle free check-in/out: free wireless in room: attached restaurant was really good (great pizza) ... basic room really/but we were in late/out @ 5am (no problem with shuttle again) .. so overall very pleased with service & price.

A fairly old room in need of a revamp. I have stayed in other rooms at this hotel that have been done up and they are much nicer. Still the price, location and airport transfers are great.

Great hotel, handy to airport with good bed and shower, highly recommended

we were dissapointed in the hotel, we had no towels in our room, only one cup, no knifes and forks only a couple of spoons. The bed was comfortable, but had no mattress protector or under blanket, and only one single electric blanket on a Queen size bed !. We did get towels when we asked for them, but they were not folded, looked like they came straight from the dryer, and the cup we got when we asked for another, had lipstick on it ! We are Kiwis and all I could think was what if someone from another country had just arrived in NZ and struck this ! We are not fussy people, but we were no impressed with it at all !

Bathroom ceiling covered in mould. Noisy, no breakfast facilities except hovel next door, not that cheap, quite frankly wouldn't stay there again.

This is a great place to stay if you need to be near the airport. They offer a shuttle service which is fantastic as the taxi wanted to charge us $30 to go up the road. Staff were friendly and rooms were clean.

Found this hotel very convenient as it was close to airport and I needed to get to airport at 5.30am. They provided a wakeup call and then provided free shuttle to the airport. Staff were friendly and helpful. Also had free wireless broadband available in rooms which was very useful.
