"Heating on constantly so way too hot in room and couldn't trn it off!! Towels looked like they had not been chnage from previous guests. If you want a good nights sleep this is not the hotel for you! However if your a party animal and just need a place to rest your weary head then its fine." - Claire Saunders


"Very central location but is opposite a night club so is VERY noisy at night - could not sleep until 4am! (room on front). Low sill and widely opening window 3 floors up, very dangerous for children. No car parking apart from expensive public parking. Staff were friendly and apologetic. Restaurant was not in use. Hotel description:    The Derry Travelodge is centrally located in the heart the city with views of the river Foyle. Designed to meet the needs of today's budget conscious family, corporate guest or short break customer the Derry city centre Travelodge cannot be beaten for price or value.

Getting there: Coming into Derry from the South (A5), North (A2), Southeast (A6) follow signs for the City Centre and then Tourist Information Centre & coach set down point, you will find the car park on your left hand side and the river Foyle to your right. At the roundabout after the TIC, turn left bringing you to a set of traffic lights with a public car park to your right (this is also used as the Travelodge car park on level three). If not parking turn right at the traffic lights and the Travelodge is on the right hand side.
Check-in Procedure: Full payment is required on check in by credit card or in cash (euros).
Car parking: Secure car park is to the right of the hotel at Quayside Multi-storey. Level 3 is for use of the Travelodge guests. Charges are £8 per night from 9pm - 7.30am. Daytime charges are as follows: £1 per hour
Child Policy: Children aged 12 and under will stay free of charge when sharing with paying adult.
