Getting there:Exit onto the Tullamarine Freeway from the airport heading towards the city. Continue on the Citylink. Take the exit toward Docklands Highway and drive approximately 10 minutes and turn right into Bourke Street. Turn left into Aurora Lane. The Travelodge Docklands will be on your left hand side.
Check-in Procedure:18 years of age with a valid credit card to hold $50 per night (maximum $150) to cover any incidentals charges. The credit card holder must be present to sign registration card and photo idenification is required for all guests checking in.
Car parking:Off site car parking available for $19 per 24 hours with unlimited entry & exits. Please come to reception at Travelodge Docklands and we will direct you where to park.
Child Policy:Children under 12 years of age stay free on existing bedding. The use of a rollaway or sofa bed will incur a $40 nightly fee. Maximum number of people in one room is 3 people.
Right across the road from the stadium, easy walk from Southern Cross Station and the SkyBus from the airport. Clean rooms with microwave, fridge and kettle.
Our experience at the hotel was a friendly and comfortable one, the staff were very welcoming and the hotel was very clean with modern style rooms. The location of the hotel is excellent, with easy access to all forms of public transport and within easy walking distance to the centre of Melbourne CBD
Very pleasant room,quiet and clean.Close to Southbank, Sothern Cross railway station and trams to the CBD. Would certainly stay here again. Breakfast was satisfactory but nothing out of the ordinary.
Best thing is the location-close to Southern Cross station & Edihad stadium Nice pub close by Platform 28? Recommend the risotto!

Very happy with our stay, location of room was quiet & on a high level with a lovely view! Slept well without disturbances, very handy to Etihad Stadium for the football! We walked there and back to our hotel in 10 minutes! Thanks for a great stay!

I was very impressed since I would never had stayed at a Travelodge before thinking it was only a budget hotel. However, the rooms were very nice. The Breakfast Hot Buffett was excellent as you had 8 hot foods to choose from. It was close to Etihad stadium for the football (only 1 minute to the end of the road). We had free parking, breakfast as part of our deal- very well priced. Quiet at night considering it was next to the railway station, we liked it but it is about 20 minute walk to central melbourne but then the Free Tram is only 5 minutes away. Great place will stay again.
Booked and confirmed twin beds...put into room with king bed. After phone calls etc. moved to room with twin beds. Should have been correct on checking in. Otherwise an excellent hotel, brilliant position, although a fair walk to both Crown and Docklands...but terrific restaurants/bar within walking distance. Breakfast included and average. Enjoyed the stay. Worth the money definitely.

The hotel is in a very central location. Southern Cross station is only a flight of stairs away or catch the lift up. South Wharf is a 10 mins walk & Harbour Town is a short tram trip. This is perfect for a weekend shopping trip! Staff were friendly - my room was ready when I checked in at 11am. Bed was very comfortable & room/bathroom very clean. Breakfast had the basic stuff & did the job. The only downside to this location is that the lane can be a bid dodgy at night... Planning next shopping trip & will be looking at staying there again.

Initially I found it hard to find as I was on foot. But once I found the best routes, it was great. Very close to tram stop and Southern Cross Station. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. The buffet breakfast was very good. I will definately stay there again.
excellent value and great location and service
Great location - 2 minutes to the main railway station and the Etihad stadium. Rooms weren't overly big, but had everything, including tea/coffee. Quiet area at night - couldn't hear the trains at all. Buffet Breakfast was very good (and free in our reservation.) Excellent value for money.
This hotel is new to us and we enjoyed our four nights there , the staff were very helpful , with our needs . the room service from the restaurants for dinners was terrific . The buffet breakfast was excellent , we met a lot of other persons from other countries and enjoyed their company . All was well organised . Car parking was great and convinient .
