Getting there:From the airport get onto the CityLink express way, take the Power Street turn-off, then turn right onto City Road then left into Southgate Avenue.
Check-in Procedure:A Valid Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, Bank Card, Dibers, American Express) & Photo Identification must be presented on check in, i.e. driver''s licence or passport.
Car parking:Car parking is available at Kings Parking located beneath the Langham Hotel adjacent to the hotel. The car park is not operated by the hotel and is an additional charge.
Child Policy:Rates are per room for two (2) people. Maximum three (3) per room. Sofa bed (subject to availability) is available for the third guest for an additional charge of $30 payable direct to the hotel. Children aged 12 years and under sleep free when using existing bedding. Cots are free of charge subject to availability.
The hotel was in the heart of the city and if you use the skybus services, then they drop you and pick you up right from the hotel doorstep. The bathroom was in a dire need of refurbishing but the room was excellent with great views into the city and a stone throws away from the trams, flinder station, federation square, south gate etc. However, the reception staff definitely needs training to handle customers as you get the feel that you are not a customer but that you owe the receptionist money. Apart from that, great hotel and great place to be.

Most of the staff were very friendly, however, we were given incorrect info about bus services and which tour to take for a long day trip. In future we will make sure to go to the information centre first. We loved the location in Southbank. The room was ok but could have been larger to accommodate suitcases etc. The bathroom would be better if a fan was installed. I would only come back if staying for a day or two.
As per usual all was great. Only down fall on this trip was there was no place to get a quick bottle of bubbly for celebrating. Need to take your own. Otherwise, perfect for the Southbank and casino area. Also parking was halved when staying at the Travel Lodge, Friends stayed across the river, a little cheaper for the room, but four times more for parking, We will be back on our next celebration.
Great location!!! Couldn't have asked for better. Everything was only a short stroll away - Fed square, Flinders St Station, Crown and Shopping just to name a few. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Queen room was clean and well set out. Buffet breakfast was nice, a good variety to choose from.
Nothing fancy but great location, particularly if you're attending conferences in either the Crown or Exhibition Centre. Fabulous restaurants within walking distance. Just a super little hotel!
Excellent hotel in great location, walking distance to Crown Casino, MCG and City centre. Staff were extremely helpful and very efficient. Would definatley recommend this hotel to everyone.

Nice hotel in a central convenient location on Southbank. It's tucked off the main drag so quiet at night and the black out curtains were great. Easy access to flinders street station and plenty of dining options around. Reception staff and cleaners were friendly and efficient.
The Hotel is in a fantastic location ,virtually sharing the footpath with a dozen quality restuarants and bars, alongside the famous Yarra River,& only a short stroll to Casino & Melbourne CBD.Secure undercover parking was appreciated,check in was swift ;complete with smiling staff. Very comfortable & clean bedding& a Sensibly laid out ensuite.

Excellent value for money accommodation. Not the most upmarket but for the price, it was excellent. And the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Close to the MCG, city and lots of nice bars and restaurants. Would definitely stay there again..
Hotel room was clean but it was a bit dirty in hallway. Excellent location to base yourself while exploring the city. Breakfast buffet was delicious. However, it was lucky I rang Hotel Club to confirm my "Free" breakfast and got them to confirm it in an email because the hotel was not going to honour it!
I love this close to trains and crown room service customer service is very good
