Although this property could use some updating, it had easy access to Route 99 and downtown Vancouver. The staff was very friendly and helpful, including the housekeeping staff. Parking seemed tight, but was free. My room had every amenity I needed, and the soundproofing seemed better than average. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone who needed a basic room close to transportation.

Very centrally located, easy to drive with maps, better with GPS.

Good clean place to stay the night with free Internet and a decent size room and free transfer from the airport. The area is a little boring, as is the menu in the in-house restaurant, but there are some alternatives nearby including Mexican, Korean and Vietnamese. I was told the taxi to the Tsawassen terminal would be $35-40 but it ended up being $56+tip, so clearly something the otherwise very friendly and helpful reception staff hadn't kept up with. Overall better suited to motorists than to people without a vehicle, but manageable for the latter. Would happily stay again.

Nice spacious room with good views. Restaurant a bit uninspiring. Recommend if Richmond area suits. Easy access to Skytrain and bus routes.

high rise bldg so view can be good, ask for north view to mtns very central location, especially if driving from us border crossing. 20 min. about 10 min to yvr arpt 30 mn to downtown. 20 min to ferry terminal. costco 5 min away and riverrock casino for good buffet and gambling 10 min. all the above if u are driving

AVERAGE HOTEL AND VERY CLOSE TO AIRPORT WITH SHUTTLE. ROOMS WERE CLEAN AND STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY. NOT A PLACE FOR A LONG STAY.

comfortable but could do with renovation. breakfasts nothing spectacular. hotbreakfast deal is not a buffet but a restricted menu. but overall we woulodn't mind staying again.

At the time of our stay the hotel appeared to be short of staff; we could not get room service. Perhaps affected by economic downturn?

Excellent restaurant on site for evening meal. Fast, cheap and good variety but nothing for breakfast. Airport transfer was excellent. Desk staff while friendly were uninformed about facilities available and unable to recommend anything to see in Vancouver. They were able to provide information about how to move around the city, their tourist information was out of date and there was no basic city map or transport information available. The only thing they offered were to book expensive 1 day tours and even it took nearly 10 mins to find the information.

Friendly staff. I had a problem with the shouwer, maintenance fixed it quickly.

very helpful Manager some of the reception staff could have had a slightly better command of English and a changing room for pool area or robes would be nice but overall a good hotel.

Good Value. Attitudes toward cleanliness are changing; especially in regard to bedspreads, which should be cleaned or changed more often in many hotels, including the Travelodge.

Very quiet room, convenient location (to the airport), very reasonable room rate.

Personally, I think the price is too high, but after visiting other places in Canada, it is not far out

Not as photos on net show..rather tired and worn. Bus loads of travellers from China continually fill the lobby and elevators. No porters to help with luggage. Will not stay here again.

Good location, close to the airport. Room was very out dated and in need of renovations. Great dining room.

The only negative thing was when I asked for directions on leaving the hotel to get on the main road south I was given wrong information and ended up making a 30 min detour until I could get back on the road. I know this is not one of their main roles and in retrospect I guess the person giving me the directions was not a driver, maybe something there about getting the right person to give the information. Other local travel information was spot on.

This was just fine for an overnight visit. The service was prompt and helpful. The room had everything I needed. Check in was not until 3:00 pm but when I showed up at 1:00 after a flight over the pacific, they let me check in early without any difficulty.
