Travelodge Mirambeena Resort Darwin

Great location right in the heart of darwin, within easy walking distance to many restaurants and shops, and a quick $10 taxi ride to jetty, harbour, and many other locations. we had 5 rooms booked and in one of the rooms the air con stopped working on the 4th night and they refused to move them as they said their contractors checked it and there was no problem. had dinner in the on-site restaurant and 4 of the 10 meals came out completely different to as described on the menu which they later admitted they did not have the right ingrediants and hoped we wouldn't notice- this was on new years eve which put a bit of a dampner on the night for us. cocktails at the pool bar are nice but expensive, and take a while to get. the alcholic slushee's are much better.

For value for money its pretty good. I paid $300 for 4 nights. The hotel is located in town, so its in walking distance of the city centre. I did have problems with my door key, and it was a struggle to open the door. I did report it, but it seems they are having problems. Also over Xmas they never attended to the rooms unless you specifically asked for it, which again was not a major issue. The staff could be freindlier though.

Great Location within the CBD but has a nice relaxed feel. Comfortable Rooms and very convenient. Also handy that they have car parking available.

My family stayed and were very happy with the surrounds of the motel. It was very clean and overall it was a pleasure to stay there. Will definately recomend to my friends and it's value for money.

Upgraded because I have been there before. Very helpful and obliging to meet my needs for early departure and organising a taxi pick up.

Great and very close to town and supermarkets 2 mins away.Lovely helpful staff.Very comfy beds two doubles and very quiet .Nice quiet fridge in room.Air con needed a flap replacing and the ceiling needed a clean as there had obviously been a leak above.Two lovely pools and pool bar with two restaurants.Very happy with stay. This was our second stay here and it was equally as good as the first.

This is a lovely hotel with excellent facilities. The coin operated laundrey was really handy too. Restaurant is good and reasonably proced. Location is great.

excellent location,we like to take public transport its a great way to get a feel for a city ,even L A & New York,The pool area was great and all the staff were friendy especialy the Irish girl in Dinning Room,our room was very budget but we didnt spend much time there. Marlene

My wife & I stayed at the above Resort for one night on the 8th june . We found every thing to our liking, no fuss with checking in clean & comfortable room,great outdoor pool area.We would have no hesitation staying here again when next in darwin

Overall our stay was pleasent, but i do think the rooms need an overhaul. We stayed there for 1 week back in 2005 and nothing has changed. But if all you all you need is a place to sleep and shower etc then it was fine. I must also mention the restaurant for breakfast ,a snack or Dinner was excellent

Very clean and great facilities.

Plenty of parking. Helpful staff. Lovely area around the pools & great restaurant. The only downside was that you had to carry your luggage from the 1st floor to the 2nd floor.

This is a great 3 star hotel located very central in Darwin. The 2 outdoor pools, with pool bar, are a great way to relax in the heat. The standard rooms are very comfortable and well set up but by the sounds of it the budget and motel rooms are not as pleasant. This is not a luxury hotel but provides good amenities for the price. This was our 2nd visit to the hotel and every time we return to Darwin, we will choose to stay here.

Staff at this motel are always very friendly & helpful. Only too willing to accommodate any needs. The room we had this time was very pleasant, although I have had other rooms that weren't as clean and seemed as though they were in need of an update.

I have to admit I was scepticle about the Travelodge Mirambeena due to what I had read and was told. The hotel was really great. I had booked a standard room and was perfect for my needs. the facilities were perfect,and enjoyable.The position perfect,very easy to get to. The only problem I encounted was the service,in respect that the staff that I encounted need to speak and understand ENGLISH.Appart from that every thing was PERFECT!

First impression, didn't get shown to our room. Air conditioner broken, no microwave, bathroom floor floods when shower used and an old very small TV. The cleaners come daily and are friendly with fresh towels and they make the bead whenever you arn't looking, the pool is great but it's waterfall is broken and don't buy your drinks there as they are double the price. The place has an over all good feeling to it and would be great with the right manager taking an eye to detail. I still enjoyed my stay and the price was right.

Not the first time we have stayed and we love the place because of it's pricing and it's location. Staff great but under staffed to serve at front desk when check out time arrives and too many turn up at the one time. Have always kept our frozen fish for us. Will go back again.
