We found this hotel, quite good the room was clean, we had ocean views, walking distance to public transport, resturants, and the beach. Staff were very friendly. Would certainly stay there again
Great location, as we needed to do business nearby. Only disappointment was the small bed as we are used to a king & the pillows very uncomfortable. The league club downstairs has pokies & give discounted drinks if you are staying at the hotel. Certainly would stay again, had a homely feeling.
When travelling on business I usually stay at the Travelodge in Phillip Street as it's close to all major sites. It's good to be able to go to the adjoining NSW Leagues Club for a great meal and relaxation. The room that I had was OK with a small kitchenette so that you could prepare a meal using the microwave and with a sink I was able to wash the dishes etc. Will stay there again.
Good location with easy walk 2 minute walk to public transport and main attractions, especially the Theatre Royal. The bistro provided cheap, basic meals and the easy access to the Leagues club was a bonus. The parking is not part of the motel but is next door. While reasonably priced parking for Sydney We had issues with the entry & exit which the motel was unable to solve. Apparently on weekends the lift within the parking station does not work and 6 flights of stairs is not easy.
Good location, medium-sized rooms, good service, reasonable room charges.
This hotel has a great location in the center of Sydney. It is 10 minutes walking to Circular Quay, 5 minutes to Hyde Park and 15 minutes to Darling Harbour. My room had a lot of space and a small kitchen with a microwave and a small refrigerator. If you are looking for a clean and great location hotel without the luxuries, this is a nice place to stay.
Adequate in all respects and an excellent location. Good value.
A very comfortable hotel in an ideal city location. Close to shopping icons (and Pitt St Mall) walking distance or $10 taxi to all major city tourist attractions. Short walk to St James Railway Stn and the City Monorail. Street side rooms do get some street noise, although the rooms are situated on the 6th,7th and 8th floors.
I was very happy with everything about this hotel, would definitely stay there again.
I stay here just about every week. For the first time I went to the restaurant. $10 steak and chips - hard to beat!!!
Enjoyed our stay very close Theatre Royal and restaurants. Friendly staff and close to Secure parking
This is a pretty basic hotel in an excellent location. The bed was a bit hard but no other complaints.
Very big and nice room, but it's abit cold in the night due to they donot have any other duna or blanket supplied. And not many restraunt around on phillip st since it's full of business building, so it's not easy to eat in the night.
The hotel is in a good location in the centre of the Sydney CBD. Very easy to get a cab. Walking distance to the harbour and major shopping. The building is shared with the NSW Leagues Club and all guests get temporary membership. Very cheap drinks, nice bistro with cheap prices for food and access to all the gaming facilities. Room was small but very comfortable, cable TV, good bathroom. At the [website] discount price it was a good deal.
I enjoyed my stay in a room with great facilities, sink, dishes, cutlery and a microwave which suited me very well. Small fridge of course. I am not sure why they took a deposit of $50 for 'incidentals' as there was no mini bar. There is a leagues club as part of the hotel, but there was no noise from this. The location is excellent, close to David Jones and a short walk to the art gallery and also near the free city shuttle bus stop on Elizabeth Street. I highly recommend it.
I stay here all the time - consistently very good.
I stay every week or so at this hotel and it always nice and clean and very consistent. The hotel is pretty quiet despite having the leagues club down the bottow. I've never heard a noise from there.
Had a great stay what you see is what you get in the photos. Great staff.Great food fantastic food and drink prices. Great place will definetly stay there again when we are in Sydney!!!!!!11
Good, clean and quiet room. Walking distance to many tourist attractions and a supermarket. Suited us
Clean and comfortable, easy to get to with friendly courteous staff. Close to lots of attractions, although a bit isolated for coming home at night. The Leagues Club downstairs was not an issue. The room was a little dark.
