"Reception were pleasant enough if you asked them a question, but ignored you otherwise. Location 'Rathmines Village' (on Travelodge own website) is a bit of a misnomer - not much authenticity here - more like Kentucky Fried and Tesco land. Bit rough at night though bus stop right beside hotel entrance, so it was fine - wouldn't recommend for woman travelling alone. " - Carole Inglis
"Not in city centre, you have to get a bus which takes about ten minutes, longer at rush hour. There's also Rathmines Town Clock right next door which chimes every quarter hour, tou need to get a room well away from it or it drives you nuts (we had to move rooms after the 1st night)Also no facilities on site, and the staff are all non- Irish, some don't speak very good English. Rooms are nice and tidy and there are bars and restaurants nearby if you don't fancy the city centre." - Edward Pullar
