Travelodge San Francisco Airport South

Great location, close to San Francisco airport, Less than 5 min. walk to Millbrae Bart/Caltrans station (end of Bart line from SF). Food outlets on either side, Wendy's and Japanese restaurant (did not try either). Older premises but clean and very comfortable bed. Bathroom, especially shower needs serious makeover. Could hear baby crying in another room throughout the night - walls are not that soundproof. Very good breakfast. Problem with booking shuttle to airport, although booked had to wait over an hour. May be problem with shuttle operator not Travelodge - but allow plenty of time despite closeness to airport. If you need easy access to Bart to go into SF (or Caltrans) and to airport Travelodge is great.and for these reasons I would stay there again. But if you want better value, much better facilities, comfort and breakfast try Bay Landing Airport Hotel, Burlingame.

I also like the place because public transport comes to the frontdoor and will take me everywhere I want to go in SF.

A nice tidy hotel, easy to find, but a bit short on parking, if you get back late you may be parked in the street.

Typical motel close to the airport. Elevator was out of use. "Restaurant" for the breakfast was the close lobby and four tables.

The breakfast is included in the price! Public transportation is at doorstep.

So you wouldn't choose this place for a week long stay, but it was perfect for an over-nighter close to the airport. Parking was a bit tight with all places filled. The lady who was on duty when I checked in was delightful and she gave me a goody-bag with an assortment of toiletries. The next clerk on duty was a grumpy old bugger, but overall, very good value.

Get the "Millbrae" shuttle bus. First stop bus makes, just past the BART Station. Rooms adequate, but 'feel' small because the furniture and bed are just like in the more expensive hotels with the larger rooms. Continental breakfast (plus more) buffet excellent. Not much in the neighborhood. Great place for a night changing planes.

It is an ok hotel for one night between planes. Service is nice and the 24 hr airport shuttle is a plus.

Excellent location next to train station which will take you into the city from where you can catch a cable car to Fishermans wharf and city sites. Breakfast area small but you can take a table outside as they have a couple on the small veranda. Room clean and adequate for our 4 day stay. Staff reasonably helpful. Easy dining within walking distance. Would stay there again.

Excellent location! Room smelled a bit strange, but seemed clean nonetheless. Comfortable beds, and clean bathroom. The airconditioning was noisy, but you don't need it at night in SF, so no problem. Plenty of information provided on nearby restaurants, BARt, take-a-way/delivery to your room, etc. A good choice for staying in SF.

Not everyone drinks coffee, hence some nice tea in the rooms with liquid milk rathet than horrible powder creamer would be far preferable. Location close to airport and light rail station into SF very convenient. Breakfast very good.

This is a quite hotel, but very close to SF airport. The room we had was not particularly large and contained one queen bed, but it was very clean and cosy and the bed was very comfortable. The free wireless internet connection worked flawlessly, and the continental breakfast was excellent. Overall, a good place to stay.

This motel is one stop by train (BART) from San Francisco International Airport and a short ride to San Francisco itself. It is also adjacent to trains for San Gose on Caltrain. It has two very large supermarkets and a number of restaurants within five minutes walk.

Well-positioned for an overnight stay immediately before or after a flight. Close to Bart station for trains into the heart of the city, plus one block's walk away from a range of shops, delis, restaurants etc. Very comfortable bed; clean well maintained room - not particularly luxurious decor, but perfectly adequate for a short stay. Reasonable continental style breakfast and free access to the internet - both a bonus. Staff ranged from adequate to exceptional - the daytime lady (Evelyn, I believe her name was) was extremely bright, upbeat and helpful and made everyone feel welcome and special and went out of her way to give information and support to everyone despite being very busy. The evening staff were adequate - not impolite and not actively unhelpful but not very interested in the guests. Overall a good experience - good value for money and convenient.

decor dated and outside not appealing

Great location for those who want to save on lodging and visit San Francisco with BART close by,. its location is close to many wonderful restaraunts and stores.

Location and service were satisfactory. Room was clean and complemental breakfast was reasonable. The only minor problem was the noisy air conditioner. I recommend this hotel to all people who want a good footwork to San Francisco and Silicon valley by train.
