Getting there:From the airport straight to our door: catch the airport link train from Domestic or International terminal railway stations direct to Wynyard station, just 50 metres from the hotel in York Street. Countrylink passenger trains terminate at Central Station - change at CityRail platforms to Wynyard station. Catch a taxi, Kingsford Smith Airport shuttle bus. By car the hotel is located on the corner of York & Margaret Streets 300 metres off the Harbour Bridge York Street exit.

Child Policy:Rates for a standard room are for up to 2 people. A maximum of 3 guests can be accommodated per standard room for an additional charge of AU$50.00 per adult/child, per night, utlising a rollaway bed or existing double/single configuration. Rollaways & twin beds are NOT guaranteed even if requested. Infant cots are supplied free of charge. Studio apartments are for double/single occupancy only - no twins are available. High chairs are available in Features Restaurant on the ground floor.
The motel is in a great location, close to the station and a 5 minute walk from the city or Circular Quay. It provides a good base from which to explore the City and Harbour in Sydney. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the other facilities are good. I will stay there again.
Everything you would expect from a city centre business hotel, and the rooms are a reasonable size. Just one problem and that is the internet which is not very friendly. When you sign up it tells you to disable your email SMTP authorisation. That is not an option for me as I do not use one of the main email servers, and I suspect some people would not know how to do this. Consequently the connection dropped out every couple of minutes.

Great, Clean and friendly Staff. It is in a ood location, close to the train station and within walking distance to all of the mjor sights
The hotel is clean, room is somewhat small but clean,I will recommend it for short stay.Personnels are very courtuous , respecful , kind and very helpful.
This hotel is convenient and clean. It is nothing special, but the location is great.
Location was excellent. We were having a family get toether on Kings Wharf. So convenient to shopping and restaurants. We utilized the gym..great. Will stay here again next trip to Sydney
The location is perfect. The room was clean and view was amazing.
No Wi-Fi in rooms. Only in lobby and charged at 11 AuDls per hour. Not clean: bathroom not mopped, room seldom vacumcleaned. Staff do help but don´t have the service spirit. It can be a place to stay but not to enjoy.
Our stay was very enjoyable with location excellent for exploring city and surrounds with train & bus a few steps away. Also walking distance to many locations like Darling Harbour & The Harbour Bridge. All facilities were first class, and the Gym a good place to do a work out, and with a view. Staff very friendly and helpful giving advice on areas to easily visit nearby. Would recommend this Hotel as a great Sydney place to stay. Room was large and plenty of light. The only one small problem is some noise from early morning garbage collections, which was only for a short period, and echos up from street/lane to rooms. Apart from this small thing, the Hotel was excellent and I would certainly stay there again.

Place is clean and very accessible to different tourist spots in Sydney. Staff is very accommodating and always have a smile on their faces every time you ask them about something. Definitely enjoyed our stay!!!

Excellent service and great location! Large rooms with very comfortable beds - will staying there again as location was easy for travelling around Sydney (2mins to train station) and ideally located to walk to main shopping district, sydney harbour and all major attractions.

Travelodge Wynyard Sydney Hotel was in a very convenient location to most attractions and shops in the city centre. It was a comfortable hotel without being lavish. The bathroom was a bit tiny, although had the relevant appointments. Airconditioning was not very effective and the room became a bit stuffy so we managed to open a window. The mattress on the bed was quite hard and left both of us with back ache by morning. Otherwise it was a nice place to stay. The staff were helpful and friendly and. although the hotel is ageing a bit, it still had a good feel about it. Would probably stay there again if the matresses and pillows were upgraded so we could get a good sleep at night!
A great value hotel for the very reasonable price and excellent location. Facilities were all standard, nothing luxurious, but very acceptable and clean and comfortable. Despite being centrally located it was also quiet.
