"Excellent food from the in room dining and hotel restaurant. Pity the wait staff and Maitre D' were so arrogant, unflexible and unhelpful (with the exception of one staff member).
The US expectation to be tipped for imparting the smallest piece of information or exertion (eg opening front door/hailing a cab) really began to wear thin on us. This was more evident at the Tribeca." - Anonymous
"A very young "trendy" hotel that mirrors the clubbing life style of the tribeca area. It is expensive but is definitely a very good upmarket hotel with all the amenities you would expect for the price. More a hotel for the well heeled clubber. $8 for half a beer sets the market." - Andrew Baker
"The atmospheric bar serves great cocktails. You are five minutes walk from the best shopping in New York, and a short walk from the delicious restaurants of Greenwich Village. Highly recommended. " - Anonymous
"Overall I felt the hotel was very clean, contemporary and friendly. I did encounter one very strange situation where I ran out of toothpaste and asked the front desk if they had any available and they didn't. I thought that was strange, a big hotel that has everything you need except toothpaste! I wouldn't let that stop me from booking again in the future though. My overall experience was pleasant." - Anonymous
