Trocadero Hotel Nice

Nice room, bit back from the beach and not really any view to speak of but it was lovely and clean, plenty of room and the staff were very helpful. Wi-Fi was free but for use in the lobby only, but they had comfy chairs to sit on. All in all we had a very pleasant stay.

Very good location. Close to the train station which makes easy to travel around and to center and trams etc. Poor breakfast- only sweet marmolade with bread. Double room extremely small, but for 4 people on the last floor much better than expected. Lack of daily light in the room in double. Polite and helpfull staff in the reception. Not very communicative lady in breakfast room.

Basic, Typically French, 2* hotel close to the train station with all that goes with that sort of area (Sex shops, youngsters on the streets, dirty bars etc.) However you are just 5 minutes walk from the main pedestrianised shopping are and 15 minutes walk from the sea. Excellent value for money and I would definitely stay there again.

Breakfast is minimal, and room is small, but quiet. Staff is very helpful. Good location to use the train station and local bus system.

We felt that they perhaps could have more of a choice of cereal , there was either cornflakes or coco pops for 10 days It is ideally situated close to the train station but on the downside of that I didn't think it was the safest of a location and there was alot of noice at night despite the fast they advertise that the building is soundproof. The cleanliness was excellent but it would perhaps be an idea to place a kettle in the room as we had to bring out own. Overall we were pleased and we got what we paid for so no problem recommending hotel Trocadero.

A basic hotel nice and close to the train station but not in a very desirable location otherwise.

Very basic hotel, the area seems a bit unsafe at night. It´s very close to train station.

The room was spacious and the breakfast was good. Beach towels available on request. The only complaint is the lack of parking. There was only street parking which was scarce.

This is a great location for a budget hotel. Very close to the train station, and also to the trams or walking distance to the centre and the beach.

Close to central railway station. Room was small and pokey. No fridge. No hairdryer although available from reception. Reception staff not particularly friendly.

Good location close to the Nice Ville train station - we arrived by train and also visited Monaco and Cannes so this was handy. Laundromat across the road. Nice room. 10 minute walk to the beach or city center. Breakfast OK.

Location is excellent...couple minutes walk from main train station in Nice, good shopping, cafes and restaurants and within walking distance to the beach however is downtown so there can be some interesting characters around. Rooms are very small but nice and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. We would stay there again!

Quite good hotel, for me in very good location, near raiway station.But some streets around are not very pleasant, thieves, especialy full of pickpocket (my mistake :-(

Quite good value for the money, I liked the location near train station and not far from center.

This hotel was booked at the last minute for the Monaco weekend so we had no idea what it was going to be like. Gladly I am pleased to say the place was perfect for what we wanted. Situated very close to the main train station we could make our way to Monaco very quickly and easily. The hotel was clean and the bathroom facilities in the room were great. I am very glad we stayed here and if I was going to the Monaco Grand Prix next year I would stay here again!
