"140dollar/night is NOT cheap for this hotel! Before checking in to this hotel you really need to consider this: There is NO safety box what so ever, not in the room or in the reception! There is no phone or TV! No breakfest! You can feel the springs thru the bed and worst of all, The sound from the clubs is crazy!! It actually felt like the club was right out in the garden! If you dont care about this it might be ok. The hotel is clean, the location is great and the staff are really nice. " - Elias Daniel Gammelgard
"The Tropical Casa Blanca in Playa Del Carmen is a very nice hotel with a familly like ambiance, a very personal and very friendly reception desk. There is not closed reception but only a roof at the entrance.
But, to stay there you have to be eather a diver or a club-visitor to accept the fact that you are eather woke up by the handling of theoxygen bottles (between 5 to 6 am) or you here the noice of the close by discos until they close, at 4 a.m. Beside this, you won't get the Wireless signal in all rooms if this is importent for you." - Anonymous
