The Tropical Garden Lounge Hotel & Resort is situated in Mae Nam on Koh Samui in the middle of a beautiful, tropical garden setting. All our 35 Bungalows are surrounded by palm trees and exotic bush as well as our new swimming pool. Chaweng, the main shopping area, are also only about 10 minutes away. Daily Shuttle Bus provided. The next shopping area, restaurants and bars are only 2 minutes walking from the resort. Our pool bar offers cool drinks, cocktails and chilled beer as well as snacks during the day. The pool bar is open daily from 11.30 until 20.00 hrs. The Swimmingpool is open 24 hours for your convenience. Palm lounge. For refreshments during the day and invigorating cocktails in the evening the palm lounge is the right place to be. Live TV, Internet Station, WII-Games-Console, Library and much more entertainment options. Our Breakfast Corner is open daily from 06.30 until 14.00 with a large selection of different breakfasts. The Restaurant Inferno serves tasty Thai and a good selection of International Foods. Our Inferno Barbeque and the Inferno Stones are available from April 2011. Our own Tour desk offers you the possibility to book day tours around Samui aswell as other tours around Thailand. In addition we offer a comprehensive activity and entertainment program for you to enjoy.

Getting there:
The resort is only about 15 minutes driving from the international Airport and 20 minutes from the ferry pier. Located in Meanam between Shop 75 and Post Office on Hill Side.

Overall, we (a couple) enjoyed our stay at the Tropical Garden Lounge. We found the staff to be minimally inviting and helpful. The bungalows are good quality, but the location of the resort in Mae Nam requires either lots of walking or renting a motorcycle to get around. It didn't take long to find other, better situated and cheaper resorts on the beach. I feel that our first impressions of the grounds and the staff left us wishing we didn't book for so long.

The staff were brilliant, we arrived very late, and initially, couldn't find the hotel due to being up a drive way. The minute the staff saw us with our luggage they jumped up and grabbed our very heavy cases and took us straight to reception. Service the next day was amazing, helping us get to Koh Toa. For a simple overnighter, i would recommend this hotel.
