Tropical Hotel is located in the area of Alimos on the beach. It has been completely rebuilted and was re-opened February 2003. It is rated as a four star hotel.
The Tropical Hotel is a five-floor contemporary hotel set facing a sandy beach, 200 metres from the Alimos Marina and ten kilometres from Athens city centre.
The 30 air-conditioned guestrooms feature contemporary decor with whitewashed walls, modern light-wood furnishings and wooden floors. All rooms extend to glass-fronted balconies with sea views and include satellite television, direct-dial phones, dial-up Internet connections, minibars, safes and bathrooms with telephones.
After breakfast, guests can bronze by the outdoor pool or cross over the road to the sandy beach located opposite the hotel. The modern restaurant is decorated in natural shades of beige and stone with sleek black furnishings and ancient Greek-inspired art works, and serves local specialities and snacks. The bar features white sofas, gold satin drapes chrome bar stools and cool blue lights, and guests can enjoy refreshing drinks and cocktails whilst watching satellite TV in the lounge area. The hotel houses an Internet café where guests can plan sightseeing itineraries or keep in touch with friends and family.

The hotel is 200 metres from the yachting marina in Alimos, and there are plenty of opportunities for water sports along the coast.
Athens Airport is 25 kilometres away, with an approximate driving time of 45 minutes.The distance from the airport to our hotel is 25 Km. and the taxi fare is 30€. Public transportation is provided 24h basis by express bus line E-96, same bus line connects our hotel with Port Piraeus via Possidonos Av. (Hotel’s bus station is 5th. Alimos).
The hotel can be easily access by Tram from Athens Center (Syntagma Square). The Hotels is situated between 2 tram stations: Loutra Alimos & Zefiros Station
